    ~3.85% off.

As with previous deals it may have already started, and the deal link probably automatically collects the code which will give you an error when you try to put it in at checkout.

terrible return….but 'free' is free if you shop frequently through amazon

  • No offence to OP, but is it just me, or is anyone else also tired of this kind of promo credit bs on GC? Subscribed to GC notifications but not really for this.

  • Still got a tonne of gift card credits from previous offers with 5%+ off, but still decent if you've ran out.

    • which deal has 5%+ off?

    these are getting worse

These will keep getting worse and worse as long as n00bs and despos lap up these pathetic Amazon gift card offers.

I'm happy with 3% off via Macquarie for any denomination you want with no limitations and instantly.

    • How do you get this?

      • -1

You have to bank with Macquarie, and be eligible for Macquarie Marketplace.

    • Bro, This is more.

The top comment literally did the maths for you. 3.85% is better than 3%.

I know. I'm happy with 3% for the reasons I outlined in my comment. Promo credit is restrictive and won't apply to the things I usually buy on Amazon (which is only things shipped by and sold by Amazon).

Also, Maquarie you have to spend your own money (cash in bank) whereas Amazon you can spend the banks money (credit card) and get rewards points….

          • @syba: You raise good points and don't want to argue with that, but I don't care about chasing rewards points from credit card purchases and I'm not a CC churner or hold card with reward points benefits. And this is a once off $10 bonus on $250 while Macquarie is ongoing in any case.

The interest earnings lost in using my own money versus putting it on a CC in this deal is miniscule. If I buy $1000 worth of Macquarie discounted gift cards per month using my own money versus putting the same amount on CC, that's about $4 lose in interest earning per month. And there is no way I spend anywhere close to $1000 per month on discounted GCs.

But that's me anyway, your spending habits may be different.
