      I highly doubt it.

      Apparently any Visa cards being used on DEFT need to support 3-D Secure. Activ Visa gift cards are unable to support 3-D Secure and therefore should be rejected by DEFT.

      Someone tried to use an Activ Visa gift card on DEFT in April 2025 and it did not work.

      This isn't the greatest reason, but pre-purchasing gift cards allows you to timeshift and smooth out your regular ATO debts, if you have them.

      I contacted customer service, apparently 5 per account. But i have purchased 9 in total this morning. Then All my order 1-50 have gone to auto cancellation.
      They say need to wait 24hr to order more.

            @Boomer85: I bought 3 more bringing total to 9, the latest 3 were successful. Must be that hard cap is at 9 per 24-hours.
            I don't want to try another card as this card gives good cashback :-)

    summary CONs of Activ visa card from my experienced:
    - no Paypal (card blocked straight away, had to call BHN got card re-issued)
    - no Shopback
    - no Sniip
    - can't pay GC in Woolies
    - not easily add to Apple wallet (mine 3/5 iPhones got rejected)
    also heard: no ATO, no DEFT …

    PROs:
    general use/purchase should be fine
    can add to wallet if not flagged (only adv comparing to coles mastercard)

      Also can use to pay council rates ( so far it works for post code 2170 and 2565 council ) - I used amex to get more points.
