AliExpress: 35% Cashback for New Customers, 16.1% Cashback for Existing Customers ($50 Cap) on Affiliated Products @ Shopback

420

Very unexpectedly Shopback decided to up their cashback rates for AliExpress as the current sale nears the end. Existing customers can score 16.1% cashback, while new AliExpress customers can score 35% cashback with both having a cap of $50 per transaction.

It's important to note that you can't create multiple AliExpress accounts to take advantage of the 35%, as only one account will be attributed to your SB account. Resulting in 16.1% for subsequent accounts and the potential for AliExpress to ban your alt accounts.

As with TCB and CR the products must be affiliated which you can check via this link and coupons will stack if they're affiliated. It's also very important that you confirm your order as received within 90 days of ordering to be eligible for cashback. Please note that some orders may automatically mark themselves as received once the tracking is shows as delivered.

Can we place multiple transactions and get cap $50 each transactions?

    • +3

      It legit says on ShopBack

Cashback is capped at $50 per transaction.

      And also in OP’s description

with both having a cap of $50 per transaction.

      • Interesting, interesting. Now what I want to know is can we place multiple transactions?

        • +2

          Name fits 🤣

        • IANAL but this this is just an upsize, so normal rules apply ie. no limit on transactions.

I placed an order as a new customer which had multiple items in the same order. Shopback only credits the 35% on one item and gives 16% for the other items even though they are all in the same order. Complained to Shopback as nowhere did they say the new user Shopback is only on one item and their response was essentially “too bad sucker”

Wow. That is legit dogshit. Thanks so much for sharing this vital information. Imagine doing a massive order and finding that out

    • Please post what they wrote. That's ridiculous.

Wouldn't have expected it but I guess as it tracks each item as a separate item for cashback purposes (which is good if you ever refund/return a single item, the others are tracked separately) - it makes sense.

Still crap. I would've fallen for it too.

Update: I asked the case to be escalated and they finally admitted it was wrong and applied the 35% to the whole order rather than on first item only. Lesson is that 1st level support don’t actually know anything and just parrot whatever is written for them in the manual. They don’t have the ability or authority to troubleshoot.

        • Glad to hear it! Wonder if they'll fix it in the system or others will have this issue and not escalate…

  • Is it valid with codes ?

  • wow tracked in 10 mins

  • Will topcashback beat this with their guarantee?

    • Yeah was just about to mention this. I’d much prefer to price match with topCashback . Better service

      • Yep it seems to have worked, will update when approved

  • Exclusions also state u can’t buy items from China lol

    • It used to say Australia. SB are cookers

    • They meant “Purchasers” (ie ppl based in China) but they used the wrong word. Sounds like it was written by a non English speaking person

  • cheers made a purchase, just waiting for it to track
