    the prime X670/E amd X870/E are suprising impressive punching well above their price category,
    compared to the garbage / junk worthy B650/B850 which are basically bottom feeders, barely fit for purpose..

      I was thinking of buying the ROG strix -a b650 which seemed cheap at discounted price of $299 but this is actually a superior board and cheaper factoring the steam card.

  There is also other b650 and b850 in ATx and matx on the market place, that after the cashback end up cheaper.

    the umart pricing.. appears to be around 10-15% higher than their website,
    then you get a 30% cashback (assuming it arrives with no issues)..
    saving between 15-20% upt to a maximum of $150.

    This already is pretty much the cheapest, decent X870 motherboard..

      Yeah this is the best deal for sure that I could see. But I was looking for mATX boards because of case limitations. And it does work out cheaper like $250 for some B850m boards. Of course they would be missing some of the features and build quality of this one.

  I have this board. Be aware that all the extra pcie slots are x1 and some will be disabled based on which nvme drives you populate. If you can deal with this, is a fine board
