  • Hey guys, do you usually get your NAB Goodies cashback without issues? I did the David Jones spend $100 get $10 back offer almost a month ago, but still no cashback yet.

    • +3

No issues here, usually a week after the spend

How does one get Nab goodies?

      • Goodies is in the NAB app if you have a NAB credit/debit card etc.

        • I do but don’t see it. Maybe you need to transact for it to pop-up?

          • +1

@nightelves: You need an active account with a transaction every 30 days at least

            • @Coops1: Yeah probably why I haven’t been getting it. Might just pay $1 at Coles each month just to activate it.

              • @nightelves: The NAB Goodies terms and conditions lists a few criteria you need to meet to be eligible for NAB Goodies. For example:

                • You must have completed at least one purchase transaction in the last 30 days on any eligible NAB Card (which has already been pointed out).

                • You must be the primary cardholder of a NAB personal credit card (if applicable).

                • You cannot be in dispute with NAB or in the process of leaving NAB.

                • You cannot be receiving an income support payment from the government (e.g. Centrelink). (This dot point was recently discussed on a forum post.)

                • +2

@WookieMonster: Think I should be good then. Let’s try the 1c micro transaction to see if it triggers it.

                  • @nightelves: How did you do a 1c micro transaction? Can you do online? Thanks

                    • +1

@Bargaphile: Split payment at supermarket self-checkout machine.

I doubt there is any way to do $0.01 online.

                      • @OnlyHans: You can do $0.01-$1 online at various places including

                        • Paying off AfterPay ($0.02) or PayPal Pay in 4 ($0.01) payment
                        • PayPal split payment (only certain shops)
                        • Certain council rates (including City of Sydney)
                        • Certain utilities (including Sydney Water)
                        • Linkt repayment ($0.5)
                        • $1 gift card for example from Shopback
                  • @nightelves: I had to use the NAB app to join the goodies program and wait a few days before the offers started appearing

    • +1

Only problem I've had with NAB Goodies is with the current TerryWhite offer, I waited the standard 14 days then complained via Chat and am awaiting a response. I'd think that David Jones would be easy to process.

Btw, there's another David Jones offer today.

      • Terry White is the one I'm interested in. Hopefully it works as intended when I go to use it next week.

        • +1

I understand why mine hasn't automatically processed, the transaction shows up as a former chemist's name as it looks like the Experian merchant data that NAB use isn't regularly updated eg TerryWhite took over the previous chemist's mall location 3plus years ago. Luckily I got a paper receipt.

          • @VladImpaler: Interested to know how you go. The TerryWhite I m planning to do transaction is in same boat reported under NAB as old business name. Interestingly when I click on merchant info from transaction it takes me to TerryWhite name. How does paper receipt helped you in this case….

            • @s0805: I chased again today and the new response is that I have to wait 20 BUSINESS days before they'll look at it.

              • @VladImpaler: Thanks for that. I m going to bite the bullet as well and make transaction. Any reason for 20 days or just wait till you can….

              • @VladImpaler: Mine hasn't tracked either. How you going with chase up?

                • +1

@s0805: Still no answer, will chase again tomorrow

                  • @VladImpaler: No tracking for me either. How do you get in touch with them please?

                    • @s0805: I've done it via the chat facility in the app. Point out that 20 business days have passed since the transaction since it seems they don't really escalate until then.

Mine only got approved yesterday, after I'd queried 3 times in the last week.

                      • @VladImpaler: Good to hear you got through….I will reach out. thanks

                        • @s0805: I take it all back, becuse they just sent me this, I suggest you lodge a ticket now:

Please be advised that NAB Goodies has identified an ongoing issue within their transaction and reporting systems that is causing delays in processing cashback redemptions for NAB Goodies.

                          …Apparently it will take another 10-12 days…..

      • +1

On a side note, Terry White is great because the price match all other retailers

        • Presumably not on prescriptions?

They are the most expensive local chemist for scripts, I only shopped there because of the Goodies cashback.

        • Not for me, rang up a couple near me and they said they don't price match. Rang a third one further away and they do however product I'm after not in stock…

      • I did a Terry White click and collect order and the payment went through an external payment gateway (nothing to do with TW), I feel like I'll need to follow it up

    • I am chatting to them about a special gift card cash back. They said it takes 14-20 biz days. Other cash backs I’ve received in under a week (DoorDash and Ampol). I see I got another special $20 cashback for $100 spend but reluctant to use until I see cashback from first one. Only thing I can think of is I used Apple Pay when I purchased first go

There is also $10 back for $25 spend on Menulog expires in 3 days

  • Just closed my NAB account (citi bank) after they decided to introduce international fees

    • +1

Keeping it for Goodies and the Saver account interest. Served me well for the 3 years since the transfer from citi.

      • I have opened a Macquarie account. Discounted gift cards

    • Wait what? When did they announce that? I’m also an ex citi customer

      • Not aware of that either. Last I checked, they were keeping the same benefits as with Citi for international transactions fees….

        • lol…Just got the email. Well it was good while it lasted. Time to move on…

        • i got the email today too…..

  • Hmm interesting I got the Ampol but not DD offer (not Menulog)

    • It didn’t show up for everyone immediately last time. I’d double check in a day or two.

  • how many time can you claim?

    • Once for each offer usually

  • Seems like by using goodies it means our offer will keep alive every month

  • +2

Sweet, got the DD one again! Used it about a month ago, so good to see it come back again!

    • Same here. Just need a good coupon code to sweeten it further.

  • I can never pay using nab card, keeps saying we can't verify card or something….

  • +2

I ordered doordash and kept rescheduling for a few days then the order got cancelled and I still got the $15

    • Cancelled by the restaurant or auto cancelled by Doordash?

      • +1

        Restaurant after a week

  • Was $10/$80 for Ampol last time

  • Used it last week and it's on again, nice.

  • I ordered Macca’s through doordash, but in the nab banking app the transaction shows the merchant as McDonald’s instead of doordash. In this case, am I still eligible for the cashback?

    • Don’t worry they will know it’s from DoorDash.
It happen to me with gyg and it appear eventually for me

  • +1

Last time it took 3 days to get cash back from DD. It’s been 9 this time and still nothing.

    • Did you end up getting it? I'm still waiting for a NAB goodie cashback as well and it's been more than 2 weeks

      • +1

Sorry, I thought that was about bonus velocity points from DoorDash.
Nope, I haven’t gotten my cash back and I think I won’t get it.

        • Damn, I guess I'll have to contact them then. Thanks

          • +1

@RainbowChad: I was on the same boat - reached out to support and got the cashback credited the following day

            • +1

@foxes28: Thanks, I contacted them and apparently there was a delay. I should be getting it soon.
