I’m enjoying a low km 2013 Q5 S-line for $9900 xD threw the savings at property

Wow the S-line badge on this new model looks exactly the same

    • How many km was it?

    • +1

Wow that's massive depreciation on a car that was probably close to $70k new. I wonder why it's so low?

      • +16

Unreliable, high maintenance cost, no resale value

    • +1

Might need to set some aside for repairs

    • Keep an eye on your DSG Transmission if its automatic. Most of these cars suffered Mechatronics module failures

  • I am pretty sure someone will say "bought 10" soon

    • +26

      bought 10

      • +2

        ok you win

    • I'm maxxed out on jetskis unfortunately

  • +5

    Nice car but I wouldn't say it's a bargain

    • I mean, you got ten deals a day for ‘free’ games and THIS is not a bargain?

      • +2

        Go to bed

  • the cars are like 2 years old now

  • Too small suv

  • +3

That's a high yield investment to some.

      Mechanics

      • It's cars like this that put their kids through private school.

  • What's TCO over 10 years on this?

    • +2

It cost nothing, just needs to sit it on garage and lock it up

      • Too expensive

  • Geez, not too long ago you could get the Quattro top model spec for UNDER this price. Times have changed…

  • +1

    This or a 2016 Q3 auto. 🤔

    • Neither… ffs. (I did get the reference though… 😂)

  • -1

    is it an ev?

  • +12

It is front-wheel drive, powered by a 1.4L engine producing 110 kW of power and 250 Nm of torque, paired with a six-speed automatic transmission. Therefore, not a bargain at this price.

    • which means it has largely the same setup as the $40k Tiguan a few days ago

so $20k more… 50% more… for the four zero rings signifying your resale

      • +2

four zeros worth at least 10,000!

    • +1

Audi has really dropped the ball here. pathetic specs even for their top of the line q5….

      • -1

All European luxury cars are scrambling to survive. Pre Chinese takeover these cars would cost a lot more

        • tbf heaps of these running around with noveau riche in them

i mean it looks like its at least $75k with them fancy big wheels on it

too bad its a tiguan w/ 50% price uplift

          • @tonyjzx:

tbf heaps of these running around with noveau riche in them

Same reason why I bought a Rolls-Royce Phantom

          • +2

@tonyjzx: tiguan is more like q5? these are smaller in terms of size?

      • +1

Check out the Genesis gv70, the quality is great. Much better than the x3 and q5

    • But it's got painted bumpers, just like my old Toyota, plus it's a Sline and has 35 in the name, so people might think it's fast. This is a perfect car for two bob snobs.

  • Audi Australia unfortunately sucks for support even when under warranty.
