    I have a 3 yo ALDI ecovac neo. Mopping is a very manual affair. Fill and add pad empty and remove and clean the pad for mopping. If just vacuuming empty once a week fine.

    Is the mopping on these automatically for up to 7 weeks or only vacuuming? Can I mop and vac every day for a month plus and not touch it?

    Disabled and emptying the vacuum once a week getting harder and mopping too much with ecovac to do often.

      I don't have this model, but usually water tanks need to be filled/empty every 5-6 cycles.

    Bought this on Amazon sale.
    - Mopping is just a cloth with dragging all along floor
    - You have to manually remove it for floors. It does not go up like some other models
    - Despite high suction, vacuum is okay, doesn't remove everything on a single run (E.g Hair in carpet or sticky dirt)

    • Mapping is quick and easy and accurate.
    • Easy to setup for multiple floors
    • Zone and room features are nice.

      Yeah, not at this price, seem not very much better than Lubluelu.

    How likely is it to fall down stairs? Do you need to manually make them avoid those areas, or does it notice a cliff before it's too late?

      I cant speak for this model specifically but my Roborock S7 never falls down the stairs in 2 years, you setup an invisible wall and it 100% obey that restriction

      Only for first time when you create a map for it (Block with books or something taller). On further runs it understands it can't go there. You can set once "No Go zones" and forget.

      Tip - Make sure you keep blinds down first time otherwise it maps outside alfresco areas as well.

    I bought this on the amazon sale. Mapping is excellent, has eliminated 99% of the manual vacuuming we used to do. Only downside is mopping is very basic. for the price overall still excellent

    Thanks finally got it been wanting this deal for a while to replace our aging S50. We tried a QRevo Master for a few months but werent that impressed by it so happier spending a lower price for the basic vac unit instead.

    I grabbed this during the Amazon sale too. As others mentioned, the mopping is basic but works fine for my floorboards. Every now and then when I know I'll be out of the house a while, I spray cleaning solution directly on the floor for a more thorough clean (apparently you shouldn't put chemicals directly into the tank except for their approved one which is overpriced and not that strong). Vacuum suction is solid—gets the job done.

    What really sets this apart from my old Ecovacs Deebot is the auto-empty station, which is a game changer. The Roborock app is far better for customising rooms and zones. And lastly, it's way easier to remove the brushes etc for cleaning. These 3 things alone make day-to-day use way easier for me. I'm happy at this price - it’s excellent value.

    Also, on AliExpress you can find for $20 accessories packs with spare brushes, bags, mop pads, etc.
