Appreciate this comment, did a price beat in store and copped for $232~
Edit: this is for my partner, I already ported out and back in with the $2 prepaid Optus sim.
ah yep, i got mixed it and it was actually $231.8
Are you able to just port out to Optus with the $2 sim or did you have to recharge with a plan? I just tried to do this with a $2 Vodafone sim but you have to do a recharge at the same time (smallest is $12). Is there any $2 sims that don’t require a recharge.
also get Afterpay as payment option
Got rejected price matching
Claimed notice in June went out excluding Lucky and Celldirect
unlucky! my guy got the manager over to double check, went through a fair bit of scrutiny before giving it the OK. Maybe could have googled another store, theres a few options around to price beat.

Thanks for this, can confirm Officeworks did a price match today on Cellpoint @ $244, which brought the price down to $231.80.
Is this full telstra network?
Of course , for the thousandth time ⁉️
But it's really not is it?
Pretty sure Boost doesn't get access to 5G standalone so not identical to native Telstra.
Yes it does. It’s speed capped at 150mbps but gets full 4g/5g access
@shutuptakemymoney101: Just pointing out the facts, downvote all you want it just shows your fanboi ignorance ;-)
@shutuptakemymoney101: I didnt downvote, but thanks for the info - I had no idea standlone vs NSA was a thing???
Same as Telstra Prepaid to be pedantic I guess.
https://www.telstra.com.au/coverage-networks/our-coverage/5g…
5G SA is not currently available with any Telstra Pre-Paid, Boost, JB Hi-Fi or The Good Guys services
Yes. The only people who say otherwise are desperate Telstra sales people who try to stop people buying boost instead of a Telstra plan.
Recently trialed a one month Boost esim as a second sim in my pixel phone which has a data sharing function. This was for travel in the NT/central Australia. Prime sim is Aldi (Telstra wholesale). Boost did better in many areas but still had blackouts in some spots. Despite 150mbps limit a speed test setting Optus as the server showed 356mbps dl speed lol
Hey, so my friend has Boost, and I’m stuck on Telstra prepaid with an annual plan that only goes up to 150 MB. Usually, I have reasonable call quality and speeds when I’m in crowded areas, but he struggles with reception. I’m using an old iPhone 13, while he’s rocking an iPhone 14 Pro Max. Just a heads-up, everyone’s experience might be different!
If only the OP could be bothered:

Sorry guys for the silly question, but can i port out and back in to take advantage of this with Boost? is there a go to people use to do this?
I ported to ALDI mobile and straight to boost again within 30 mins and it worked.
Kinda have to as boost dont look after existing customers, only new signups
I tried doing the $2 telstra method for my dad. Boost - Telstra worked but now having issues porting back to Boost.Did the activation thing entered my dads number but yeah something has gone wrong. It's been hours now and the boost service still has not come throught. I am speaking to live chat and they said somehow my number is still with Telstra
Coles Mobile 365 day prepaid (Optus 4G/5G network) 310GB currently on sale for $219 could be a good alternative for some instead of the usual (price ever increasing) Boost plan.
I'm getting tired of Boost plans getting more expensive every year so after trialing Optus on a month to month plan I've finally jumped ship.
I dont get the comment of "300GB on activation for new customers by October 6, 2025. 240GB on next recharge onwards."
If you activate after October 6, does that mean you only get 240gb?
Officeworks just declined to price beat and told that its considered as prepaid gift card
there is stock again now and I just go office works to price beats it no problems!
Thank you but I went and bought from Costco, got a 30dollars gift card. So cheaper by 25 dollars.
FYI officeworks will price beat this , got it for $238 the other day
