Robo Vacs are so confusing. Can't work out which RRPs are inflated, which brands offer better long term performance, etc

    • Literally all the same crap but somehow we are dumb enough to fall for the mirage that there's 5000 different product SKU's, all pumping out individually different components.

  • Missed out on the Q8 yesterday, need one with the camera that avoids toys etc left on the floor, current S6 needs everything to be picked up which with young kids can be a mission.

I think I may have to go to the Qrevo C based on what I can find now. Would like to stick with Roborock given the S6 has been so good over the years.

    Anyone got any other ideas?

If you decide to go for JB HI FI for a robot vacuum never EVER use Team Global express… I think these clowns kick your package around a few times before delivering it. I had a few pop vinyl's delivered two times through them and both times the pop vinyl boxes was damaged. JB HI FI will do nothing about it.

Then I tested Australia Post and my other Pop Vinyl's was delivered in perfect condition. Stores need to stop using Team Global Express.

    • like all posties it depends on where you live and your branch. i've never had issues with global express/toll/border express etc. but i do worry about the delivery because of their reputations, but so far have never had issues

      • Maybe you're ordering big items or something? With the Pop Vinyl's they sell they don't put bubble wrap around these items (For who knows what reason?) and instead just toss them into plastic packaging with team global express logo all over it which in both times for me resulted in two pop vinyl's being delivered in broken packaging. If they are not kicking them they are at least tossing them into the trucks by a lot of force.

With Australia Post it seems JB HI FI respects the hell out of Australia Post. My other Pop Vinyl's like I said above was delivered in perfect condition because JB HI FI used a cardboard box with what looked like plastic air packaging instead of bubble wrap which prevented the Pop Vinyl's from being damaged in transit…

It's a joke. Barely any protection towards items with Team Global Express but a LOT of protection towards items if you go with Australia Post. I sure wonder why JB HI FI does this…

  • I would like something like this with good suction but would prefer spinning mops. Any suggestions under 1k?

  • Any robot vacuum's under $500 that also accepts Afterpay that can clean stains off a floor? Due to lower back pain I can't use a mop and bucket properly without ending up in pain and some areas in my kitchen has dirt and stains that needs cleaning off hard floor… Anything decent would be nice.

I have no experience with Robot vacuum's… I don't even know if this one will suit my needs.

    • no, they won't remove stains at that price, only what a gentle damp cloth wipe would clean

Then why do most of these have mops to begin with then? Isn't the entire point of the mop part to remove stains?
An Actual mop that costs less than $50 can remove stains but a mop system in a robot vacuum that costs several hundred can't? Kinda sounds like a scam to be honest.

  • This or the TP-Link Tapo RV30 Max at 399?

    • I went for the RV30 max stack with the current jb perks deal for $30 off ✌️
