Thanks for the update. This is my first post, still working on how to post and edit deals on here :-)
4.5 star average for 89 reviews on Harvey Norman

And deal has been edited to include merchant & price :-)
Can someone help me choose between this and Samsung HW-Q990F. 990F is about $1200 in EPP along with a voucher code.
I use q990c in living room and it fills the whole room. jbl 800 with detachable rears is pretty good for small spaces. But that's 5.1.2 unlike the 7.1.2 version. But you won't hear the bass with low volume, you have to cross volume level 35 on jbl 5.1.2. Samsung 990C thumps once you cross volume level 10. But it is based on room space and personal opinion.
Q990F is a beast!! Absolutely recommend!
I went from a very solid 5.1 setup to a q990d to placate my wife and I’ve got no complaints. It’s outstanding for movies and games.
Nothing beats the Q990D.
I own jbl 800, my friend owns 1000 on my recommendation. But honestly the sound and vass is horrible :(
I've got a JBL 800 in the bedroom and think it does a solid job.
Yes it does the job, but it is not that good if compare with samsung, bose, or sonos.
Shameless deal hijack, but I'm looking at the same 'deal' on Yamaha True X Bundle for $948 with bonus GC.
Just wondering how people feel this would stack up against some of the other options mentioned here? My focus would be on quality clear sound for the space, which is a lounge room, rather than all out noise for a theatre room. For myself, I struggle with just the TV due to hearing loss/damage for dialogue, and find the bass tends to take over. Considering options.
No price and no merchant in title.
