Funny because it used to be the opposite.
Anyone that still defends these prices when you can get the same thing from aldi for 10% of the price is delusional
will this color co-ordinate with my arc’teryx jacket ?
Looks exactly like the one I got from BigW for $20 . OK, no coincidence, but the knock-off has served well for many years. How hard can it be to make enameled cast iron?

Cast iron is cast iron. There's no difference between the brands that could possibly justify the price.
Now the enamel coating on the other hand, can be different. But in reality if you treat a cheap enamel one with respect and care it'll last years, and you've paid a fraction of the price.
I had an Aldi one that looked like the one you linked for 10 years that cost me like $50 or something. That's $5 a year before the enamel started to crack but it's still usable. I'd rather $5 a year than $50-$100 per year with LC crap, and still run into the same issues.
$700 dollars for a pot?!?
Magical pot, your tomatoes will blossom faster
Mushroom lunch anybody?
can i bring the in laws?
I got one as a present 15 years ago, it was great.
Recently the coating on the inside started coming away, so I claimed the lifetime warranty they have, nope, denied!
Apparently they could see from pictures I sent that I used the pot on high heat (who the hell doesn't use the burner in high in their cooktop), so the warranty wasn't valid.
They're nice pots but the lifetime warranty is a lie.
I got this at 50% off from South Africa….. came
With small factory defects like a small (unnoticeable) dot on it…
Unless you are someone obsessed by cooking, even $30 pot will do the same work
I have both a Creuset and Staub casserole. Frankly I prefer the Staub and they tend to be cheaper. Myer has their Staub at half price at the moment.

BTW. The Creuset I got as a reward freebie and the Staub I got in a HN scratch and dent store as a cheapie.
frypan and grill lan i have in creuset as they are great shape and ergonomics, pots and casseroles i have in staub, cheaper and do the job fine and the staub frypans and grill pans not as nice as creuset.
