Was in store today, and they're having a clearence on Raspberry Pi cases.

Seems the clearence is only in-store (except for one item which is discounted online), and can't confirm if this is only limited to Joondalup, or available at other locations.

  Not really a deal, either buy from Ali or 3d print one.

  Would be a deal for Pi 5 but not a case.

  Pi no longer offers the value they once did when you can get a mini pc for similar cost while not consuming much more.

  Unless you need the GPIO pins..

    Even the GPUs are less important if you can use an arduino-like board to handle the interaction with the external device and use MQTT or similar to send the data back to your "server".

    Yeah Pi corporation went public and got too greedy with their pricing.

    They seem oblivious to the fact that N100 boxes cost less while offering more.

    GPIO and prebuilt images are the only reasons to run a Pi.

    Pi succeeded with hobbyists because they were cheap, now they've become a big corporation, they've become enshittified.
