No reply after 3 hrs so I did some research myself & came across Elvor Tapwares eBay page which has it for $99 & RRP is $322 which begs the question why mention a higher RRP on this OzBargain post?

That is incorrect, thats our ebay store, ebay prices are slightly higher than website due to ebay commissions. Please do your due diligence before making any suggestions. You will not find this price with any other retailer. For the RRP, please refer to Methven's website as they set the prices. Also, you have not even felt the product, its a very high-end, I will appreciate if you do your research before sharing your opinions. Thanks heaps

You have to understand the cost. Company has to pay 400 for the graphic designing for the images. They are not cheap. Then have to pay 5 for marketing purposes, then 11 is the final product

As someone who just upgraded a shitty Bunnings towel rail with a slightly less shitty Bunnings towel rail, you seriously don't get much for $50. This looks as good or better than what I just paid $100 for.
I don't think anyone's arguing about the quality, I think its tripping people up the $416 RRP.
This is Chinese made, low quality crap. From my experience at Bunnings the markup on methven is about 500%

A odd business with email only, no phone number? Definitely not the type you don’t need to chase things up. Still haven’t fully fulfilled my two orders from 19/08. Sent partially on two orders. Replied through email insisting the rest will be dispatched “TOMORROW” on 25/08. Still NOTHING up to NOW! No goods or even email notifications on dispatch.

I bought some mixers from them last week and my only complaint was printing the shipping label without the second address line, which happened to be my Aus Post Parcel Locker number. Otherwise, shipping was fast and the mixers look nice. I wouldn't consider any of it at RRP but the discounted prices are comparable to other sources. I'd buy more stuff if I needed anything else.
Might have to walk this back. I ended up placing another order and it’s been silent for a week. No shipping and no email response.
