OP where are you guys based? Can we come pick it up? Save you guys from posting it.

    • I don't think they are associated but they are based in yatala qld as I had the same thought I could drive down and get a sample (maybe Charlie in the prework out factory a little?)

  • +7

1kg protein for $79 on your website….must be gold protein

    • +18

They use the extra money to to pay for all the samples.

Also on a side note… its not really a quality formulation based on the ingredients in my opinion.

Most likely this business is designed around regularly having 50% off deals and the regular price is the lazy tax.

    • +1

Where you getting your protein from btw? And whats good price per kg?

    • +1

1kg of Steaks would be a better option :D

      • +1

        Steak is tastier!

  • +1

Checkout page says free shipping on $50, but banner at top says free shipping at $99

    • +20

Protein quality will be as reliable as their attention to details.

      • +5

Atleast their creatine is 3rd party tested, their protein isnt which is another red flag to only test some of your products

  • +2

    Whey to go!

    Thanks OP

    • I see what you were Creatine there

I don’t mine me some cougar juice, but I prefer to extract it myself.

Problem is, sometimes it's a two man job. At times you need a bottle of wine and a jackhammer.

  • -2

    not the best deal

    • +2

No but haven't seen an amino Z deal in forever and my last cashback can't even cover 1kg worth.

      • +4

AminoZ not happening again anytime in the near future. Confirmed by thier rep. They say wholesale prices have doubled so they cant do such sales.

        • imo they are price gouging, it was $60 per kg a few days ago then they jacked it up to $67, while making their new cheaper WPC formula $60 (in fact this is not cheaper at all vs what they purport)

          • @exit: Complete agree, they even removed the membership scheme where they used to ship for free. The rep asked me to use the subscribe and save feature to save some $, but then I thought not to continue the discussion as they were clearly not the same consumer oriented company anymore. I think ALL companies do this once they settle down. Thier flavors are decent and once they advertise through sales to many people, they just stop. I use unflavored protein so the flavor does not matter to me and I buy the cheaper myprotein when on sale. Even they have switched to the same cheaper WPI whey source that AminoZ have after they changed to Australian packaging, but better than buying WPC from a decent company.

6 individually packed doses of protein and some creatine for 9.95 delivered isn't bad. Not sure the regular price is a good deal but worth it to try them out. Thx OP

    • $40 for 1kg of 75% protein isn't bad as well, have been on the fence waiting for an amino Z deal but might pull the trigger for 3kg to get free postage plus this.

      • Yh it's not the worst price for sure. If it digests well and tastes good maybe they'll get another customer :)

  • 75% whey isnt great, you want 85% atleast

    • -1

      85%+ doesn't exist under $60/kg

    • 85%+ is WPI territory. Haven't come across it for WPC/Blends.

Picked up 3kgs from Faction Labs along with the sample box. Best deal right now if you need to order (compared to the usual MyProtein, Bulk Nutrients, AminoZ, Chemist Warehouse, etc.)

I know you're being sarcastic but it's 4 weeks of creatine. The last deal of creatine (+33 upvote) shows $35/kg so the 150g in this deal is worth around $5.
Then you are getting each of the other 6 scoops at less than a dollar per scoop which is a record low?
Not sure how that isn't a deal?

      • -7

Sarcastic only about the RRP bullshit. It's like $5 of creatine and $5 of whey, they are charging $9.95.

It's not really a bargain is it? $10 of product for $10. Just because the RRP is $49.95…

Also, I (and a lot of others) run creatine 8-10g+ hence my 2 week comment but yes 4 weeks for ya normal 5g a day.

        • +2

$10 of OzB-priced (not RRP) product for $10 is a deal. Also interesting how you even admitted it was a deal then edited your comment lol.

        • +3

It might be just 6 scoops per $5, but different flavours to enjoy which is good. Also you might be taking 50 grams of creatine per day, that does not make this 3 days worth of creatine. Its still one months worth. RRP can be anything, but look at the deal price. Also where can you buy 6 scoops of different flavoured whey for $5?

    • +5

Your creatine overdosing has gone to your brain & interfered with your mental processes.

  • Can’t argue with this! I actually don’t mind their pre workout non stim or the “fat burner” (good for early morning energy, not fat burning). Can’t argue with free stuff, and unsubscribe later from the mailing list you’re added to.

  • +1

Thanks OP ended up getting 3kg plus the sample with free shipping for $120. Haven't tried their protein hopefully isn't horrible. Aminoz is $67/kg atm and this doesn't seem too bad with 75% protein.

  • does it have 2.5g of leucine each serve? doesn't say

  • Is 20g daily creatine good? Thinking of trying it out.

    • +1

That’s pretty high for a continuous daily dose.

Around 3-5g daily would get most of the benefits without straining your kidneys.

      • yeah cheers bud. I been reading up, a lot of different opinions, but I think 3-5 is gonna be my starting point.

        • +1

20g is for the loading phase like the first week, not daily dose after 👍

  • Can anyone comment on how the protein tastes and flavor suggestions? On the fence on buying the protein + this deal for free shipping.

    • Was considering doing the same but it seems the samples are sold out so no more deal.

      • yeah decided on just getting the sample only, not worth the risk of having a kg of protein collecting dust.

  • The reason they are giving it away is they expiry 1/10/2025 as i receieved mine.. would of been nice to know it had a short expiry as i would not of oredred it. Have not opened the sample packet but they are feeling very gritty like they have hardened pieces maybe due to being old shelf stock.

  • +1

Got the delivery already and tried the flavour I thought would be the worst (banana). Packed very well. Ignored the instructions and did 50:50 milk to water. It's actually delicious.

If the others taste as good or better and the price for the full tub is reasonable I'd buy it for sure.

Edit: protein has 2025 October expiry but creatine is 2027. Personally not a problem for me as it's only 6 doses of protein
