I don't know what you want:
- Dynamax/Terastallisation are not in this game.
- Mega Evolution is almost 13 years old and back due to popular demand.
- There are no new Pokemon in this game (that we know of), but Megas make many of the original 151 viable and fresh.
- If you literally want vanilla Red & Blue you are allowed to play your old copy.

I got the switch 1 version for $59 after using the $10 newsletter code.
I decided against buying a switch 2 on release and don't think I'll be getting one till an OLED or special edition releases. So I'll take the fps and quality cut and play Z-A on switch oled on release.
I won’t be giving Nintendo any further money until the current proprietary and anti competition shenanigans stop. They are turning into Apple/Disney

The “cool” thing is you can buy the Switch 2 version and it’ll work on Switch, and then you’ll already have the Switch 2 version (if you buy one, one day) without having to buy again, or likely get higher resale/trade in value when you’re done with it.

Yeah it’s interesting/confusing isn’t it. The Switch 2 version/cartridge is the Switch 1 version with Switch 2 Upgrade Pack. Hence why you get “both” versions on the Switch 2 version. Zoom in to the pack shot for more info and confirmation.
@Pratty: Oh awesome! I have a Switch 1 and 2 but the Switch 2 is semi permanently connected to the TV for the kids whilst the Switch 1 is used by me hand-held.

Fixed the no cloud save feature yet? Lose switch, get it stolen, or it breaks and your years of progress are gone.
It's not something they'll just 'fix'. The whole point of no cloud saves for games like Pokemon and Splatoon is to avoid save editing since they have a ranked online element.
God I wish saves saved on the cartridge again. But then again they'd get lost as well if the battery ran out.
