Spotted this deal on eBay. Same item was posted yesterday for $299.99 (160cm) but now with an extra 20% off. Free express delivery (select metro areas) and free returns. Unfortunately, the 140cm variant is out of stock.

From what it seems - really good price for a large, solid dual motor sit stand desk.

Credits to nick90:

The desktop comes in two pieces with a seam in the center, but that shouldn’t be an issue, especially since many people will use this as desktop setup.

It comes with dual motors, a 10 year warranty & can hold up to 80kg.

Don’t think it will last long so get in quick!!

I hate the join right in the middle of the desk top :( it would drive me nuts!

    • Personally I didn't mind it. Even if you buy it for just the mechanism, it still a bargain. You can always change the desk top to something that you prefer (such as bamboo or hardwood) & you'll be still out in front. You should be able to find a single piece that more to your liking somewhere online, Bunnings, any timber suppliers or even ask a cabinet maker for any surplus from a job.

Or you can always chuck a mat on top of it to not see the join :)

      • Yeah that's true, wouldn't be too difficult to swap the desk top and just use the dual motor base. They made tracking down the specs really difficult - but I believe I've found that its lift speed is only 10mm per second, which seems very slow. Artiss brand (a cheap alternative) appear to be 25mm/s, while more premium brands at around 40mm/s or even 60mm/s. In my mind that's a big consideration if you intend on swapping between sitting and standing frequently and don't want to wait ~30 seconds to change positions instead of ~5-12 seconds.

  • Looks like its all out of stock?

  • Took too long to decide if the quality/price was worth it - all gone now.

  • FWIW, I've used a flexispot desk (E2 Pro) before and was surprised at how good the quality was for the price.
