Thanks OP, $9 for the ratchet set is a great deal!

  • FYI the drill bits a pretty average. Okay set for the home handy man but even the wood drill bits wouldn't handle many uses on hard wood.

I bought a bosch metal bit kit on prime day… First bit I tried to drill with wobbled around.
Realised two of the bits in the kit had a bow, brand new, bent tip.
Amazon gave full refund and said keep the set since the rest are usable, but it's a shame to experience such poor quality control.

I have a couple of the small 27pc ratchet sets, very good quality and handy to have in the car

    • The bits are good quality but the mini wrench won't last very long if it's used on a regular basis. I worn out mine the ratchet direction switch doesn't engage properly. I'm pretty sure it wasn't abused I don't have superhuman torque. The bit extension is also rubbish as it uses a C ring as a lock. It gets jam up whenever theres dirt. However, as an emergency tool kit it's an A+.

  • The screwdriver set just sold out after i bought the gift card -_-

      • Yeah it's still saying temporarily out of stock for me.

        • oh it was in stock when i posted it.

@ashumz: Sometimes when it just goes OOS it will still show as in-stock on the page and not until the 2nd screen of the checkout give you an error.

For hot items like the PS5 back when it was hard to find Amazon let me get right to the end and then told me there was an unspecified error when I was doing the final button press even though it still showed as in stock in my checkout screen.

  • What is the difference between this 27 piece for $19, and the 26 piece for $15 from the other day (other than 1 piece and $4.)

    • +2

The 27 piece will give you better access to tight spot due to the pass-through design of the ratchet's bit holder. But in my experience that also makes the teeth mechanism a bit fragile. Result is the direction change lever stuck quite often.
I have the 26 piece as well but have no use yet so can't comment.

Thank you very much, that's a great explanation

      • My mini ratchet direction switch is totally gone after a few sessions of use. It isn't durable. The bit extension also stops locking when there's dirt. The lock ring is soft aluminium it wears out then the C ring stops holding the bits. You will be relying on the magnet. Typical Bosch Green tool quality. The bits however good quality.

  • Bosch 27-Piece Bit & Ratchet Set is almost doubled the price. It was $15 (-10) yesterday. :D

    • what are you talking about dude $19 vs $15 how it is double?

  • Only 91 in stock now

  • have the 91 set. definitely my favourite set to have for odd jobs.

  • I bought the 91-Piece set in 2021 for $24.90
Fairly good though the hex bits are a little hard to pull out. Does anyone else have this issue?
I also lost the ball bearing on the Ratcheting Screwdriver which is now using tape to hold it together…
