Express VPN: 28 Months Basic Subscription US$107.49 / A$164.52 + 70% Cashback from Cashrewards UPDATE: 95% Cashback

70

I was looking for a new VPN as my Surfshark VPN membership just finished and came across this. Express VPN has currently a "2 years + 4 Months" deal for US$3.49 per month (tax not included) for the Basic plan. After 70% cashback from Cashrewards, it comes down to ~A$1.76 per month (tax included).

So total payment for the 28 months is approximately A$50 in total.

They have also Advanced and Pro Plans. Basic for me is enough for what I need. Cheers

Update: Cashback is now 95%

You might be unaware but most Ozbargainers only sign up to Express VPN when the cashback is 95% or more (100%)

    https://www.ozbargain.com.au/deals/expressvpn.com

    Topcashback is currently offering 85%.

PIA (as of today) has 100% CB

    • Thanks for the heads up. Not sure I can wait until an offer like that comes around. I never tried Topcashback so guess this is the deal to lure me in for now. That would mean if I've done my calculations right, ~A$0.9 per month on that plan for 28months after cashback from Topcashback. Sounds sweet

      • Express VPN has a money back guarantee https://www.expressvpn.com/support/manage-account/what-is-ex… that you can take advantage of, if you have buyers remorse or see a even better deal down the road

      • Don't forget to use a referral link for top cash back

        • Unfortunately VPN sign-ups are excluded from TCB referral bonuses.

          • @trixieb: As long as you make other purchases you will qualify though?

You only get one chance to get refered so may as well use it

            • @mnko: The VPN purchase would probably have to be the 2nd purchase for the other purchase to qualify. Not too sure.

Express VPN is BDS if that's helpful for anyone

We now know who you are, if that’s helpful for anyone.

  • FWIW my cashback from a few months ago is delayed whilst Express (apparently) check their system to make sure my CR click and purchase matches their side. Seems like they're stalling and/or will reject my claim, if I'm being pessimistic.

  • Can this be used for existing ExpressVPN customers?

Hi guys I just watched a program about VPN sites being owned by companies that have been selling people information and what people are looking at using VPN s so before you sign up I would strongly suggest you check them out. I think there was only 3 VPN that look after people and don't sell your information please check one of the good ones is
Proton that's the guys I think I am going to use.
    Please check

Any good deals on one of these three VPNs you speak of?

    • Where did you watch this program?

Aside from security, you should look into who owns these VPNs. I was alarmed when I looked into it. Disturbing.

    • Appear like they do everything right nowadays except for collecting data for marketing purposes, collected exclusively when using the App. I personally recommend Proton VPN especially the free one if you're not doing anything too heavy. Also go to browserleaks.com and make sure IP address, WebRTC and DNS are NOT leaking your real IP address (ISP), especially before you download distros.

  • Surfshark offered this code CB_SURFSHARK to comeback for 90% off on 2yrs subscription.

In case if it works for OP or someone.

    Edit: I didn't use it.

  • If you genuinely value privacy and security there's only two that experts would use Mullvad VPN and Proton VPN.
