First time Deal poster. Apologies in advance if i messed anything up :)

I have been looking for a decent price on Sleeping Dogs on PC for some time and noticed the Steam daily deal. Checked Amazon for their price and found it cheaper for $9.99US. Serial key is Steam redeemable.

DLC is still cheaper on Steam.

Combine this deal with the 75% off DLC deal on Steam and you can pick up the game + Nightmare and Zodiac DLC's for $13USD :)

All other DLC are just skin/weapon packs.

    • Well some do add single missions too.

      • Do you know which Dlc adds extra missions? I would like to buy all the game content but not interested in the skins/weapons/etc

  • By skins you mean attires? Because many of the attires give you extra bonus points on the character. Spend $14 on DLC the last time Steam had bargains, and my level are all maxed, and have abundant of money.

Don't understand why such a great game has been selling for such a budget price on multiple platforms!

That's easy.. It's square enix/eidos, which aren't say Activision or Blizzard.. All of SE stuff goes for cheap, ie, Tombraider, Just Cause, Deus Ex, Hitman.. Good for them, I just hope that they're making money from all the sales and keeping their cash flow coming..

Most single player games drop in price shortly after release because they don't sell as well as they once did. Multiplayer is where the market is at.

There are some exceptions to this of course like Skyrim for instance.

What Vladdo said about the publishers is true as well.

  • man that price error for $4.49 on steam beggining of the month, now that was a bargain, this is good too.

  • Great game! I wished I didn't purchase this on release day :(

  • Aw man I brought some DLCs and i got an error on steam but they still charged my credit card :(

  • Has anyone with an ANZ Debit Card managed to purchase game downloads from Amazon using a US address? It never works for me, it keeps getting rejected and Amazon locks down my account. I'm sicking of making a new email/amazon account every time!

Is anyone else having this issue?

    • Experienced on my amazon acc years ago, with my commonwealth debit card. The problem is on both your bank and amazon worry about overseas fraud.

My solution taken was ask my local bank branch manager create a letter that your credit card and linked acc are true, with their stamp. Then you fax/email to amazon and bank creditcard dept.

      • Thanks for the reply. So to get this straight, I need to let ANZ know about my Amazon account? Should I mention the whole US address thing or just state that "the Amazon account with this particular email belongs to me"?

    • I just successfully purchased using my ANZ Debit Card. No problems.

      • Hmmm, well at least now I know it's not an ANZ specific problem but rather specific to me. Thanks ;)

  • Thanks. Pls do post when battlefield 3 premium edition has deals.
