      But you can use it inside the supermarket to buy a gift card, including discounted ones, eg these. Whereas with groceries you can already use discounted Woolworths gift cards.

        I'm not seeing WW on their site anymore. But I'm assuming the supermarket slayer card will also work for this?

          Yep looks like it is gone, slayer is a better option anyway as more flexibility.

            @hamza23: Yep Slayer is the one to use, can also use at other supermarkets too. It worked at Coles for me.

          Two different things.

          You can't buy gift cards inside WW, with another Woolworths/Wish gift card.

          You can use these Special supermarket slayer cards though to buy gift cards inside WW, as despite the name 'Special Gift Cards', they are actually specific use prepaid credit cards.

      I haven't done it myself but I would imagine buy supermarket slayer then use that to buy Amazon at Aldi (0.5% surcharge so it'll be roughly $99.5)

        Do you mean $90.50? Last time i tried to split payment at aldi, i was told i can’t use a combination of two debit or credit cards.. only cash and card. So have some coins on you.

          No I mean if you ask for the Amazon gift card to be $99.5, after 0.5% surcharge it should be $100 so you spend your special gift card in one go. No split pay involved

      It is not as straightforward as it used to be, because Amazon appears to be massively scaling back where they sell their physical gift cards.

      The easiest route nowadays appears to be service stations, because Amazon (physical) gift cards appear to be still available at some, which means you could use a Special Aussie Explorer gift card as a payment method:

      • Shell Reddy Express - I saw $50 Amazon gift cards at one yesterday. If you also scan a Flybuys card during the purchase, you should earn 1 point per $2 spent.

      • United Petroleum - I saw some $50 Amazon gift cards for sale at one a couple of weeks ago.

      Ampol Foodary used to sell them, but it looks like you cannot purchase them anymore.

      GCDB previously suggested 7-Eleven, EG Ampol, OTR and bp sell them as well, so you may have some luck there too. However, the last three EG Ampol service stations I have visited in the last month did not have them…

    Seems quite impossible for CBA to re-target you if you claim an offer similar before. YMMV.
