Handy for backyard setup and playing with kids. I bought 410cm wide net a few days ago for $60 including free delivery, but it seems it dropped even further in price to 56% off RRP.

Thanks I might grab one
does it come with another player to play with ? :D
Shippingkills it , but as BuskerMove said about free delivery with Amazon might be a good deal
I find outdoor badminton pretty undoable because slight wind ruins the game. Especially with novice players, if the wind is blowing into the back of one side.
Volleyball should be good though.
Pickleball is great too.
What is the deal with pickleball all the sudden.
It’s a new sport that gain popularity fast due to flexible & friendly play, even inexperienced kids can have fun, unlike tennis or table tennis where proper technique is needed in order to play. You can even play on grass like badminton.
It's been a thing for a couple of years now… You must not hang out with the corporate grads of Big 4 companies.
Corporate Zoomer girlies love the pickle
@Subada: Haha interesting, below comment seems to indicate it’s more for retirees.. perhaps a sport that brings together like minded retirees and corporate graduates? A mix no one saw coming. An old vs new world tournament. A way to prove once and for all who are the superior generation.
It's tennis for retirees who don't have the musculature nor reflexes.
For those who find pickleball too slow, there's padel as well.
@tekisei: Have you seen those professional matches? It doesn't look like retirees with no reflex or muscle play at all.
I find its a bit of a middle ground between badminton and table tennis. Its a way for people who don't have the athleticism to cover a full badminton court to play outside and still have a bit of a run around. It also has the technical dimension of spin on the ball that table tennis has. While it's popular with retirees because of the low skill floor, high level play is still extremely demanding and skillful. It's also much less of a hassle than tennis.
What about using this for practising tennis serves up against a fence or something like that? When it is 'dropped', can it be set to the exact/regulation height of a tennis net?
Time to find a deal on sheds.
Is it a deal? This looks similar and has bigger option.
https://www.amazon.com.au/BAGAIL-Adjustable-Disassemble-Recr…Official court net width is 5.2m for singles, so i guess this one is better
The rating for this deal is better and far more reviews. This is probably a better bet.
Wouldn't play badminton in the backyard, due to wind and ruins the lawn.
Play indoor for best experience. Court hire is around $30-$40 an hour, which is reasonable for air conditioned indoor setup, specially when split between 2 or 4 players.
I don't know any badminton courts with air conditioning lol usually its a refurbished industrial warehouse with no insulation.
Backyard badminton is ok in the winter, maybe 30% to half the afternoons have 5kph or less wind which is quite acceptable even with feather shuttles.
I'm thining of buying one to play Sitting Volleyball indoors; it is so fun :))
We have something similar and it's good for pickleball in the street
Where was this deal during COVID badminton(thons)!! :)
are these strong to stop cricket balls? Need one, any recommendations please
Depends who throws them.
bought one, now need to buy a backyard.
That will be an extra $1,722,443 thanks.
I am surprised people still have a backyard now days.
Why?
You need to get out of the CBD more. Plenty backyard in the suburbs.
