Going through this deal https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/922928 and someone mentioned they need to charge 4 S25 at the same time.
For $99 you can.
6 ports USB C with 200w is more than enough.
Pretty good price comparing the other 8 ports is $169.

CamelCamelCamel.Misleading description from the poster, this won't charge 4 Samsung phones at 45W simultaneously which is what was being requested in the other thread
it doesn't say "at 45w" but simultaneously charge them it will
Thanks, Yoda ;)
disturbance in the wattage I feel. bad downvotes there will be
True. But very rarely do phones and other devices have the capability to go 45W charging anyway, based on statistics of most popular devices. That's why even 20W chargers are fine for most people.
You're right, not sure why you're getting down voted - galaxies hit 45w for a very short time, then sit around 20w for the rest of the charge due to thermal throttling.
A bit of lore: Regardless of my correctness (or because of it) across multiple other deal posts, my username is on a hit squad by affiliate marketers and their extended circle, due to my calling out bad deals. Hence why regardless of the content of my messages, it'll get negged most of the time.
@marshmall0w2: Jeez you weren't kidding. Maybe report them or talk to the mods or something? You're doing god's work calling them out imo
@ferry594: marshmall0w is writing himself in good light, its mostly because when pc deals come up, he says very hypothetical situations on how to get a pc build at a lower price, but doesn't actually back it up with links to those extreme good deals that he says he can get instead of buying a pc build already on discount.
thats why he can't do anything about it when getting downvoted in terms of pc deal side of ozbargain. he basically just talks to talk but doesn't back up the talk about how he can build cheaper pcs with actual proof.
@cheat: lmao gotcha - I dont really pay attention to usernames on posts on ozb - im just pretty cynical overall and noticed downvotes on his recent posts that didnt seem too bad
@cheat: This, he’s writing himself as if he’s some tech messiah being persecuted for speaking the truth.
I find it amusing that he thinks (or at least claims) some brands are paying for users to attack him on some bargain forum, lol.
He’s not always wrong but he’s so arrogant and makes lazy comments that he’s garnered a reputation which gets him automatically downvoted
A bit of lore
Imagine thinking you're important enough to gather lore? No, people are just calling out BS when they see it lmao
yup. I have an s25U and I don't even know what charger I have. it's been plugged at my bedside a few phones ago. I plug the phone in at bedtime and it hits 100% before midnight
and the phone has on average around 30% at the end of the day, so can't think of a time when I needed it to charge any faster. it's a marketing gimmick IMO.
Its for ppl with battery range anxiety 😄. When youre on 20% battery on phone or in a car, some users just feel nervous
Obviously, depends on if you need 8 ports or only 6, but generally speaking likely.
2 ports can do 100w each on that one where on the posted it's only 65w max
I thought op one can do 100w max each c1/2/3
I think it's 1x100w out of any of C1/C2/C3, while the one linked can do 2x100W.
First bullet point in description says
High Speed Charging: This 200W desktop charger supports max 100W output per port for C1/C2/C3 ports.
@SS625: The / stands for or, not and. By your logic it would be able to do 100w on all 3 ports, which will make it a 300w charger.
@CocaKoala: Yea ok. The wording for this one is pretty much the same
This 200W desktop charger supports max 100W output per port for C1/C2 ports
@SS625: It's confusing, I agree but see these photos:
This one: https://m.media-amazon.com/images/S/aplus-media-library-serv…
Other one: https://m.media-amazon.com/images/S/aplus-media-library-serv…
So maximum this can do is 100+85 but the other one does 100+100
Hope this clears it.
I got this one a couple of months ago, was wondering if it was better. I'd never seen the 8 port on in the OP before, is it new? Was thinking I'd bought an older worse model :D
Mine does 2 x 100w charging simultaneously though, not that I've ever needed that, haven't even needed one yet to be fair lol
Just to clarify the linked 6 port for $109.99 will do 2 x 100w.
The posted 8 port $99.99 will not.
Correct?
You are correct. With two high powered devices, this 8 port charger can only provide 100W + 85W.
Would be the better buy, but too bad it doesn't support Samsung's 45w fast charge.
It's quite perplexing when the 8 port product does though.
Also dont forget to apply 5% off on the page.
What is the verdict on ugreen? Are their products reliable?
They are up there with Anker in product quality. All my ugree purchase has been top notch
Yes, their products are very reliable.
There are many positive ratings for them- this was one of the reasons I purchased from them. However, I am hesitant in purchasing again for a couple of reasons- 1. One of the chargers I bought from them became defective within 3 months. They wouldnt offer a full refund, or a replacement as it was "against Amazon policy." 2. They seem to change the link to their products every now and again. This may mean they avoid retrospective ratings. Some old links have poorer ratings.
Did you contact ugreen or amazon? I would have thought amazon are generally really goos with this type of thing.
Ugreen products are excellent. Never had a ugreen product die on me, I rank them on-par with anker but often a bit cheaper.
In China ugreen is very big, well known, and has a solid reputation.
My Ugreen power bank died after 1 year of accidental use. I have an anker charger which works fine since 2016
Did you mean to say "occasional" use?
How does everyone keep their cables neat and tidy when it’s 8 ports? Mine looks like a jungle
it doesn’t even reach 200w? more like 185w?
With 4 devices plugged in, I can see a total of 65W + 45W + 45W + 30W = 195W. Close enough to give them a pass.
He stand by his neg la
It actually adds up to 185W
Well I'm embarrassed. Thanks for the correction.
Your math is off, and actually backs up their point.
I'm embarrassed. Thanks for pointing it out. You are correct.
@S2: We’ve all been there.
For what it’s worth, while the math is out, I think you are actually correct in the 200w, there’s just an extra 15w line.
It sounds like it is able to do: C1 65W + C2 45W + C3 45W + C4 15W + C5 15W + (C6 + A1 + A2) 15W = 200W
Diagram for C4 and C5 looks like it can do maximum 15W together, but it doesn't say in the notes that combined total is 15W like it does for C6/A1/A2. So assuming both can do max of 15W it totals to 200W
Negging a deal to ask something you don't understand is wild
I got this for free as an Amazon Vine item a while ago.
It is quite large for a GaN charger, easily 50% bigger than the 250W Anker GaN desktop charger and the power distribution if you were to use all 8-ports is pretty bad.
The first 3 ports are good with 65W, 45W and 45W but the remaining 5 USB-C & USB-A ports share 30W combined (15W between C4,C5, 15W between C6 A1, A2).
It’s really perplexing power distribution and I don’t get why they chose to go with 8 ports with this sort of wattage. Even a simple Bluetooth speaker can charge at 15W these days.
How do you get to be part of Amazon Vine? I have so many impulse purchases with Amazon.
You can improve your chances of being selected for Amazon Vine by consistently submitting detailed reviews with pictures that other users find helpful. But I’m not entirely sure how the invite algorithm works and I suspect there is a lot of luck involved.
go on aliexpress you can find these for half the price
but the plug adapter will be non AU though unless you have a link to one with AU adapter ?
i recently bought this one and it comes with a au plug.

That's a completely different product and isn't even ugreen branded.
Ugreen quality is much greater than no name brand generics.
I've learnt my lesson with generic chargers, too many have blown up or damaged devices, now I only get reputable branded ones.
$100, but yeah that's a strange deal
