D-Link AX3000 Wi-Fi 6 Wireless PCIe Adapter $15 + Delivery ($0 VIC/NSW/QLD C&C / In-Store/ $250 Metro Order) @ Scorptec

450

I was looking for cheap Wi-Fi 6 and found this from Scorptec.

I’m not sure if this is good or not, but it’s way cheaper than unbranded ones from Amazon.

There is a review here.

Shipping to my suburb in Melbourne is $11 for 2 items. In my case, $41 for 2 is not bad. Plenty of stocks on all branches. If you could get it cheaper, please let us know.

Surcharges: 0% Afterpay & ZipMoney, 1% card & PayPal payments.

Thanks

  • thks, ordered one as click n collect, can use the whole card in one of my PCs, or just the antenna as an external on the other that has built in wifi but cheap antennas.

    • Yes so long as the other computer has those two standard WiFi screw in ports. You're all good.

    • The antenna looks great

  • thanks, ordered. Other place have it for $40ish, JW is still $107.

    Just FYI:
Wi-Fi 6 = same 5 GHz spectrum as Wi-Fi 5, but faster throughout with compatible routers
    Wi-Fi 6e = new 6 GHz spectrum supported

  • Wtf why did i pay so much for an Asus one.

    • was it 6e?

  • Cheap, these are great would have paid a decent amount more a few years ago

  • $18 postage, ouch.

  • downloaded their driver on D-Link website, seems to be Intel not MediaTek (MTK wifi has more complaints on the street), combined with the specification (BT 5.1) this should be Intel Ax200 based, I've own several Intel Ax200 (in different computers) they seems to be all doing great.

      What’s the chipset?
      Supported on Linux?

        AX200
Yes, it should work on Linux as it's a very well known chipset.

  • Thanks OP got 2, will replace a questionable AliExpress one I have

  • Thanks. Got 2 as well for my machines.

Wonder whether the card is a mini-PCIe 2230 card on a PCIe adapter under that big heatsink. Would be great if it is.

  • OOS

  • Thanks OP, just what I needed. I just upgraded a relatives old windows 10 PC to windows 11 and the only thing I couldn't get working perfectly was the USB wifi adapter.

  • missed :( needed this badly.

go on AliExpress, find any Intel ax200, Intel ax210, and just buy it. it's gonna be a Intel branded m.2 2230 card on an pcie adaptor board anyway, brand doesn't matter almost at all.
