  • Dine-in or takeaway.
  • Walk-ins only

Notes

  • I cannot find the dish on their standard menu so I cannot work out what the usual price is. Regardless, a $12 lunch is a decent price for Melbourne
  • This deal is simlar, but different from the Dodee Paidang, Glen Waverley deal, ie, different price, different hours and different promotion duration

Their small storefront upstairs on Equitable Place also has a similar deal, I think it might be $14 but there are more options to choose. It is very spicy though!

    • It is very spicy though!

      As it should be!

    • Doesn’t it also sell out really quickly

    Chicken on rice
    👀

(Simple meal - shouldn’t be pricy)

    $12

Someone doesn’t understand the overheads required to run a restaurant and it shows.

      • yeah, it's the same people asking for graphics card only shipped to them in original box from businesses which do custom prebuilt PCs.

        • 🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️

        lol

        Chicken on rice

        !!

Someone doesn’t understand a bargain ~ or basic maths, or has skills to prep meals. (And it shows!)

        Gasp! Yikes! 😲😱😮🙊

        • Yeah condescension doesn’t really work when you miss the other person’s point completely.

Obviously cooking the meal yourself is cheaper, except no one interested in this deal cares. This deal is not for raw ingredients. $12 for a cooked dish with meat is cheap for Melbourne’s CBD. Shocking, I know.

        • Depends on which country you live and what metric you use. In this country prices for this sort of lunch was around $9 in 2009. $12 now is a bargain if you factor in the usual things.

          yours sincerely

          • @Naigrabzo: lol

Depends on which country you live

            In this country

            Wow - that condescending speak
            You’re writing that assuming I’m a foreigner

            Chicken on rice!

            Chicken. On. Rice!

The reason it’s that high is because people tolerate it/ allow it to be so - inching as high as they could get away with. (And here you’re defending it 😲 - with the ‘overheads’ as it’s the only thing that it’s concentrated on in the business 🤦‍♂️)

The grey matter between the ears, it’s there to be used.

            Signing out

            ~ YoursTruly

            • @YoursTruly: Nah, it depends on which country you live. For example, when I living in Indonesia, $12 chilli chicken would be crazy! I used to pay like $2.

I was giving you benefit of the doubt just in case. Any one with thumbs (no grey matter needed) can type these days.

              • @Naigrabzo: Nah.

Any one with thumbs (no grey matter needed) can type these days.

Yes, I am witnessing that clearly.
