$9++ extra for a tiny cup of chips, a can of drink & some sauce is wild.

        • Snack chips: $4.90
        • Remedy Bloody Orange Sodaly: $5.70
        • Dip: $1.50

        Total: $12.10

So about 25% off their regular pricing

        • +20

25% off robbery prices is still robbery IMO.

Cool if people want to stump up for it but anyone willingly paying almost $6 for a 250ml can of soft drink should surrender their Ozbargain licence.

          • +4

@Captain Yobbo: Yeah Grill’d’s sides pricing is outrageous imo. Pretty reasonably priced burgers offset by ridiculous prices for a thing of chips.

            • +1

@get-innocuous: It's really frustrating how expensive chips are in general now. Although, I have noticed a bag of potatoes is expensive even at the market nowadays too :\

              • +5

@itsfree: In WA 4kg of spuds is $4 at the right places.

          • +5

@Captain Yobbo: Anybody dumb enough to pay $18.50-27.90 for a burger/meal from grilled doesn't deserve to eat at a better burger place anyway.

            • @justtoreply: In this case it makes sense because you get a free burger but ordinarily the standalone price (let alone the meal) is outrageous. At least 1 person thinks we're out of order for noting the insane prices…

Getting two of these burgers is enough food for me for like four days lmao excellent deal!!!!

    • +1

Part of the appeal is the box I think. Do you get the box if you just get the burger?

    • +3

If you remove the beef patty (-$5.00), it becomes $13.50 and I ordered a BLAT worth $17.50 which worked with the coupon! Guy was super chill but can see this not working depending on your cashier. Effectively paid ~$11.50 since I used a grill'd gift card which was purchased with one of those restaurant gift cards.

        Great hack!!

Was second in line to get a Piastri Burger but then the manager asked me to let the person behind me go in front.

    • +72

totally fair, it wasn't his fault he took longer to find parking than you did.

      • +15

Remember last time when you ordered first, but then we gave your burger to the guy behind you, but then decided to give you that burger in the end?

    • +1

Should've just pretended you didn't hear him.

    • +23

Good one, took me 4 seconds longer than usual to get it.

You mean like eat out of the thing they keep money in?

    • +3

You just have to eat it at the register while they watch you

  • +2

It's alright. I robbed them last year with the daily chips and sauce deal.

    • So it's this their revenge on everyone for your actions?

  • So its effectively two of the same burgers or can you choose another flavour?

  • Price maybe good but my first food experience with grill'd burgers was of burnt dry buns with overcooked meat that had no taste.
The burgers were the worst i have ever come across & vowed never to purchase from them again. Only went there because my son and his wife like the veggie burgers.
Meals were at my cost and supposedly the veggie burgers they had were ok… or maybe they were just being polite?

Why not raise this with the store at the time instead of continuing to eat it and then complaining about it online after?

    • Bring this up with their Customer Support team, they do a great job with this stuff as long as you provide photos and proof.

First time I have tried the Oscar Piastri 81 Burger and I must say it was very tasty! The bonus burger made the deal worthwhile for me.
