  • How much is this one at Costco?

    • +2

      3 x 1L = $14.89, slightly more (if you bought 6 x 500ml via sub & save on Amazon, it would be $13.50 equivalent).

  • Max of 3 with S&S

  • +3

$2.00 at the The Reject Shop

If I get some at Woolies while getting bread and milk probably lower carbon footprint and less packaging than Amazon …

    • Only if you walk and plant a few trees along the way

    • +2

I was about to order via amazon this morning and then checked woolworths and did not bother to. A large carton or paper bag and a delivery guy searching for your house in you area are not worth the 0.25 dollar savings in terms of carbon footprint. Added to woolies shopping list which i have to anyway visit for weekly groceries.

Don’t we call it tomato sauce in this country?

    • +2

They’re trying to own the Ketchup brand as something different (thicker) to tomato sauce.

Personally I like rosella, Australian owned.

I did a blind taste test on both tomato sauce and ketchup and found no difference in taste. Where I am from ketchup is very slightly tangy and used as an end product with chips/fries/burgers etc and sauce is for cooking.

      • Ketchup traditionally has vinegar while sauce doesnt. Other brands have ketchup as well.

    Need more pickle flavour though.

    • +1

Woolworths has the pickle flavoured one for half price at least, albeit not as cheap as Amazon with S&S

      • Ohh thank you brb

  • Limited to 1

    • +1

Ah this happened recently, they changed the quantity to max 1, then they changed it back to 3 or whatever it was originally.

Meanwhile on a business account it lets you order up to 18.

Maybe order 1 now then order more later when/if they change it back.

    • +1

I think it's back to 3 now already.

  • Ketchup catsup

  • Amazon doesnt have the low sugar n salt option?

    • +1

Here, it hasn't reduced in price though, it might do in the near future.

Keep in mind that version contains sweetener.

      • Ohh damn didnt think about the sweetener.. thanks

      • It's reduced in price now.

      • May as well get the 1$ tomato sauce..
Besides, fat makes your fat. The crap you're putting it onto would be worse and you don't need much.

I'm guessing it's just more watery than ketchup, but given the other one OOS then may be ok.

  • I didn’t buy the ketchup from The Reject Shop because all the bottles at my local had expiry of 01 November 2025. But now the bottles that I received from Amazon have the exact same expiry date. Will be returning.

    • Are you really going to carry your sauce back to the post office?

Just get some from woolies perhaps, maybe short expiry as well.

I got some unopened Frank's hot sauce 2y past best before and it would be fine -some stuff doesn't go off to be honest.

  • short expiry 😭😠
