how do people store their power tools in their garage? I have close to 10 now, and I left them in some boxes, or directly on the shelves. Any tidier option?
Tool chest
Tool hangers like on a pegboard
Boxes like packout
I built a hutch out of melamine panels for my tool chest, and have a lot of my power essentially "wall" mounted on that, then I have a lot in drawers. And my OPE sits on top of the hutch.
Forgot to add that I used 10mm x 3mm aluminium flat bar to make hanging hooks.
It literally costs 40grams of ABS. Less then $1. Just print them 😂
I don't have a 3D printer, are there any "print for me" kind of 3D printing services? Like printing a poster at Officeworks?
where are you located?
Some libraries offer the service, or check facebook marketplace.
Crows Nest NSW - thanks, I'll search around
@jolt: I told you to be careful!
Don't go looking at Gridfinity tool chests now…
or other dewalt mods
@impoze: Look, would you stop that! I've gone down so many 3D printing rabbit holes my mates are calling me Bugs.
@banana365: I know.. I need to finish projects before I move to the next one.
I have cyberbrick just waiting for the school holidays to come around
Check one of the million 3D printing groups on Facebook too (there's bound to be a Sydney one)
Whether anyone would want to print them for less than $2.66 a piece is a different story.
Checkout lane cove library, ask for eric. I moved away a year or so ago but it was pretty reasonable and he does it pretty quick
3D print your own.
PETG is fine
