Didn’t @BennyHe2018 tell you about this deal on your other post?

…What? I think they're just suggesting 'hey your other post was jb, and was a higher price, BennyHe suggested HN, maybe just tag/mention them in the OP as a small thanks'

        Think you overreacting here lol

You missed a t at the start of your username.

      • Tbh almost worthy of a neg for the attitude alone

But it would probably be against the posting guidelines but my god, get rid of the attitude

My wife wants a MB Air. I get 4% off JBHiFi through my bank, so if I get them to price match Harney Normans, would $1965.12 be a good deal for a 13"/24gb RAM/512gb/10-core GPU. (HN does it for $2047)

Anyone seen it much cheaper elsewhere?

This is as good as it gets for the latest model. But save your money and just get her the base model with 16gb, unless she's got a specific need for the extra ram and storage.

      • I just want it to last like 5yrs so the ram is a bit of a future proof thing. 16gb is barely acceptable these days so figured in 3yrs+ it'll not be enough.

Storage is somewhat required for her so that's fine.

        • I would be getting 512gb minimum on MacOS. It uses much more space then linux or windows.

    • Which bank mate?

      • Macquarie has the "Macquarie Marketplace", some HR platforms through workplaces also offer similar systems, and some health insurers too I believe

  • Hi. Does anyone know if the price is likely to be better during black friday sales? - it appears that the price has dropped to this level for now (and not likely to go back up?)
