love a bargain, but I don't think I even know what 15 cents is worth anymore when I spend a thousand times that on groceries every fortnight

    • 1000 people already claimed it 10 percent gone

      • -1

Cost of living crisis is in full send mode

    • +1

1 mixed lolly at the corner store.

would have gotten me 3 paddle pops as a wee lad…still searching for the stick with the K , I have R, A, N

        • +1

LOL! Exactly how old are you that you can recall a time when paddle pops were 5c each?!

I’m genuinely curious to know when this would have been. I can recall my disgust the day in the early 80’s when I discovered that my local fish and chip shop put up the price of their potato scollops from 5c to 10c, but paddle pops were already 20 or 25c by then…

Also, what prize were you chasing from the Lion? It wasn’t a Rank-Arena TV, was it?

  • +3

Not worth the time n effort.

    • +1

Did it faster than you would have taken writing your little message lol

    • Do it while doing number 2

      • +2

But then would we brush our teeth?!

  • +3

    Where is the bargain?
You “earn” more if you go to the toilet or for a cigarette break while at work. Will that qualify as a bargain?

    • +7

So do this while you're on the toilet and make an extra 15c

    • -2

No bargain mate as it's a freebie!

  • +3

And that 15c can put you over $10 allowing you to cash out

  • Can you have minimum value of atleast $1 cashback /benefit before it can be posted here.

  • +2

@gotyourback Is superswap supposed to have a 5% bank bonus today? Got the email but can’t see it in the app.

  • -2

    15c?

Even if it only takes you two minutes, your time needs to be worth less than $5 an hour for you to waste it reading and executing this “bargain” without losing money.

Life is too short. Spare us these “deals”…

Visit the DECJUBA site and browse for at least 15 seconds

      15c for 15s, or $36/hr. more then I make.

A bit more helpfully what it's done is push my balance to over $10 so I can withdraw!

      • +1

Agree to disagree. It took me more than 15c worth of time to read that.

It would certainly have taken you more than 15 seconds to type it, never mind click through and claim your prize.

Happy to pass up this win and wait till my next cashback transaction pushes me over the withdrawal threshold to buy a coffee. Better yet, every true OzBargainer doesn’t withdraw cashback - they use it to buy discounted gift cards and earn more cashback. There’s more than 15c worth of value in that…

      • By performing the above actions, you essentially supported 15c deals and encouraged its repetition instead of them bringing something that is actually material, i.e 15% off giftcard….

        • +1

and I'm happy to do so.

    • Questions how others value their time and then continues to take the time to share their opinion for free. 🤔

      • +1

Always happy to share opinions or advice for free.

Would never expect you to pay me 15c for it though…

        • -2

Always happy to share opinions or advice for free.

Some may perceive this as a waste of time, similar to your opinion on this deal.

          • @topherboi: Just me on this deal?

Or everyone’s opinions on every deal?

Either way, they’re welcome to them. Don’t fret - it’s just my 15c…

            • @UncleRico: Are you sure it's worth your time though?

              • @topherboi: Pardon?

                • @UncleRico: Was my question not simple enough?

                  • @topherboi: It sounds like you’re trying to argue that someone can’t have a different opinion to yours. It needn’t be this way. We can just agree that we each value our time differently…

    • +1

Just do it whilst watching TV, on the can, whilst at work etc.
How long do you spend on Ozbargain? It would have taken much longer to share your concerns and reply a few times, haha.

It sounds like you shouldn't worry about any cashbacks or Ozbargain.

      • +1

Maybe not. I’ll get out of bed for $10 bucks but I won’t bend for 15c.

        Each to their own…

        • +1

Funny perspective, I'm sure you're not fully productive and busy 100% of the time.

You could have done it in an instant instead of your 20 replies ha.

I wouldn't get out of bed for $10.

          • +1

@G-rig: No it’s not - it’s reality. Most of us don’t get paid for what we do with three quarters of our time. We’re all free to indulge how we spend it.

So I’m still not going to jump through hoops for 15c no matter how much you think I should…

            • @UncleRico: Don't care what you do :).

15c is 15c. Not fussed either way but the point is it takes 5s vs half an hour at least which you've spent on this thread. Was better when they gave away $2 though, people went bananas for that.

              • @G-rig: But it’s not a valid point to equate working for 15c for even a minute vs choosing how a person spends their free time. It’s like saying that there’s no excuse for a person not working for an extra seven hours a week when they choose to spend at least that much time eating.

Others are welcome to it, but in my perspective 15c is a paltry reward from which no one could extract a net benefit for their time. Unlike browsing OzBargain which is indisputably invaluable. Cheers!

anyone tried todays $30 on GC's for $3 bonus and got the bonus to track?

Also their "Bank Bonus Day is here! 💳" ain't here in the app :-( You'd think with the failure of CR, they'd try a little harder to win us over.

    • Tried with a $50 AmpolCash card about 2 hours ago. Standard cashback has tracked, $3 bonus is yet to track. But am willing to wait the 6 hours or so it took the $5 to track the other day.

    • I got a $30 gc today & $3 cashback. Yesterday I got $40 gc & $5 cashback. Bonus came later in evening.

  • Think it's targeted. Can't find it… Spent minutes trying to find it (link doesn't work for me). Spent more than 15cents of my time (it's not worth much)

    • Under earn more, near the top.

  • Embarassing
