Me thinks that's got to be getting close to ATL territory

    • I got this $300 SIM for a little less than this price, when it was on sale last year during Black Friday PLUS $50 cashback (via CashRewards)

  • When is the SIM expiry date?

    • +2

      SIM expiry date is 19/03/2027

      • Why does it mention Activate by 6 Oct 2025?

        • +4

If you activate before 6 October 2025, you will receive 300GB of data. After that, you will receive 240GB of data.

  • A reminder to read and follow our title guidelines. In particular, the basic requirement to include the name of the store. You can find the edit button on the submenu located between the deal title and your user name.

  • Can this be activated as an eSIM?

    • +4

Activate as physical SIM, convert to eSIM in the Boost Mobile app.

Saw these in Costco tonight. $249 with $30 Costco voucher via email

    • Can that be bought online?

Is the usual "must be new user" apply?

      • In store only I believe.

    • Which store was this at?

      • I am at Costco Perth, they just have the Telstra $300 offer here

      • +1

Its costco wide i saw it at epping store as well in VIC

      • +1

        Ringwood, Vic

    • where?
      send photo

      • If you have a Costco membership that's the way to go.

        • i didnt even see the boost sims there, my local is moorabbin.
could be near the Tv's at the entrance Hmm

          • @Hirolol: yeah i'll have to check crossroads, NSW as dont think i've ever seen a boost there but maybe just didn't notice..

  • Thanks OP, bought one.

  • Can this be activated from overseas if we happen to be travelling?

    • No, that can't happen.

  • +1

Can this be used as a recharge for current boost member?

    • +3

      Yes and no.

You need to port out, to another SIM, and then come back to Boost.

      • How long should the port out be?

        • Can be minutes, give Boost a little to update it’s system and confirm you’ve ported out, otherwise it get’s confused thinking you’re trying to port a Boost number to Boost.

        • +1

You can port out, on a cheap SIM for 1+ month, and then come back to Boost.

Otherwise, you can port out, same-day, and within 10 - 15 minutes, come back to Boost.

          • +1

@whyisave: Ive done this for a few years now, its not without some risk though. One time affer successfully porting out and back my phone would sometimes send/call from a new number, needed to contact Boost support to fix it. Heard a couple of other stories of the porting essentially taking weeks.
Usually very straightforward though and i'll continue to do it for now.

          • +1

@whyisave: Telstra does 1 month for $1 delivered

  • thanks, just in time as my prev plan data is running out

      • In-stock now.

        • +1

          • @bindok: Sorry for the inconvenience. Please refresh the page now.

6 months half price postpaid sim only plans with churns works cheaper than boost 12 month sim.

Like Dodo $16.40pm with 40GB data, optus networks 250mb 5G capped speed.$300 to overseas, equates to 300mins power month.

Then comes moose mobile $12.50pm for 6 months with 40GB data. No intnl calls but we are in an age now where various calling apps socially connect you to any world.

    • +6

Ok, but Boost uses the Telstra network. Which for a lot of Australians is the only viable option for decent mobile coverage in their area.

      • Yea the full Telstra network is why I stick with Boost

  • Can I keep my number ? I am currently with lebara.

    • Yes

  • is the 365gb one ever going to be on sale?

  • Are they already sold out?

    • +2

      Looks so :(

    • +1

I just missed out too. Just wondering what limits your stock and why retailers can't do offers like this more frequently?

  • +1

    Sold out already wtf 😭

    • same for me.

  • Ready to buy if these do come back in stock.

  • more stock please!

  • please more stock

    In-Stock Now.

  • Today is the last day of my 365 plan with Boost. I guess this exludes any options for me ?

    • To answer my own question.

I just thought I could do a one month recharge on the Boost website then get one of these sims, but within 48 hours of an auto payment/recharge you can't make any changes.

Win some you lose some. ☺️

      • +1

Call and cancel it then go aldi store tonight

    • Looks like this deal is only for physical sim, not eSIM so yeah I think you’ll miss the boat unless u want to just get an aldi sim in the interim and then when you get this boost sim then port to this plan which should work for you

  • Good timing, my prepaid plan ends in June 2026 but this is good value so I’ll buy it since sim expiry is in 2027 ✌️

  • Current Sim expires 5th of Oct thank you

  • Does anyone know exactly how the eSIM conversion works? Do you need to receive a text message or physically have the sim in your phone?

I’m thinking of getting this shipped to a family member and then immediately transferring it to an eSIM rather than physically collecting the sim and putting it in my phone.

    • +2

my experience is that your family get the physical sim first, then your family can activate it after register the account. Then you can login to the boost app to transfer to esim via wifi

      • Heads up for anyone following this that the above advice is not complete and might mislead.

You can activate the SIM card without physically having it in your phone or possession as long as you have the sim serial number.

You will not however be able to transfer to eSIM without receiving a text message security code on the SIM. This means that you will need to physically insert the plastic sim into a phone and receive the SMS code. I was able to have a family member do this for me and when they provided the code to me I had no issues activating the eSIM on my phone (while outside Australia).

It is essential that you have a way to receive the SMS on the physical sim before the eSIM conversion in the Boost My Account can take place.

  • i've had issues with kogan mobile (voda) and making calls, but my telstra sim works

will this work as well since its on telstra network? using a poco f3

  • Sold out again. Any chance it will be restock? Thanks.

    • you can order now. Only 10 left.

      • ordered. Thanks.

      • Ah missed it again! Any chance for more stock?

        • +2

Yes, but i think next week.

          • @semreb1700: Awesome thanks

          • @semreb1700: Any chance you can let us know in this reply thread a bit early so we don't get ozb'd? (Sneaky request I know)

            • @skynet: As someone earlier mentioned this deal is available and slightly cheaper at Costco factoring in the Costco voucher

          • @semreb1700: I've commented on this thread for new stock notification. Thanks

  • damm sold out again. I wanted to buy

    • Yeah, it was weird. I went to buy twice and was sold out both times on their site, so the secons time I reported or whatever the post as sold out, near instantly got a notification saying it has been modified sue to my report. But the post was still not marked as sold out or expired, so tried refreshing and going to the the $300 sim page, then clicking on the post again, still didnt show sold or expired.

Now this was all in under a minute, but then i clicked the link again and it was showing in stock again 🤷

So well see if it ends up showing up i guess, paid by Paypal so I'm not worried about losing my money either way.

  • Anyone received theirs yet. It's been 2 days and no notification of order being sent.

    • Yes, i have Aus Post tracking details, with delivery scheduled for Mon/Tue.

    • nope, no tracking details or anything

  • When will this be shipped ? no tracking yet

    • Mine was shipped with notification from Auspost yesterday.

  • I wanna buy. I am already an existing Boost customer with the good old $230 prepaid plan. Does anyone know if I can register this $300 12 month plan as additional service? I recently register another telco for extra data and it has a pretty cool number so I am planning to give up the $230 service, (hopefully) get this deal and port the new number over.

    • confused you got boost but then you have another telco for extra data?

anyhow all you need to do is port your number over to e.g aldi and then you port back to boost back as a "new customer".

really dont understand why they don't just offer this for existing customers, people are just porting out and in to get these deals which yes is inconvenient for people but you gotta do what you gotta do right

      • My goal is to take this Boost deal from MobileSkin and port the Lyca number over. I recharged my current service on 10 Oct last year before the end of the $230 unfortunately data has run out now. I could easily add extra data but Boots wants $26 for 7GB, so I signed up the Lyca $6 20GB deal. It is also a side mission to test Voda network as well. It works pretty well so far.

If I got you right, it is not possible to register a 2nd service with the new SIM from MobileSkin while my exiting $230 is still on my account even though I don't want to keep this number because I do need to port it out as "cancellation". I can only activate the new SIM and port the Lyca's service.

As much as I enjoy Boost's network and overall experience, my first porting to Boost took a few weeks and a compliant to TIO, hence I am hoping to hold on to my existing service or it's risk I need to accept.

  • Just wanted to add here I had issues verifying my ID the Boost verification system is so stupid. Tried a SA drivers license as well as medicare. Now I need to go into a Testra store to get the sim activated (You only get 3 tries). Frustrating

    • just do live chat with support, they will sort it out for you

      • Yup got it sorted. Thanks

  • The Boost SIM card will be available at the end of this weekend.

    • +1

When will you ship the existing order from this deal? I’ve been waiting for my order for a week now, and there’s been no news on delivery. The support seems nonexistent.

If this order isn’t shipped in the next few days, I’ll have to charge back my credit card.

  • +1

I agree with this. Ordered nearly a week ago and have asked for an update a couple of times but no response.

Can you advise please when all existing paid orders will be shipped?

    • pls email us your order detail on our support email address.

      • have already done it couple of times, with no response/acknowledgement yet

      • Likewise. Have already reached out and no response.

  • I just received mine. SIM expiry date was actually April 4th 2027 on mine.
