Tesla FSD 48 Hours Refund

I found that Tesla FSD can be refundable in 48 hours. Under the conditions here:

Yes. For upgrades purchased from the Tesla app, you can request a refund from the Tesla app within 48 hours of purchase. All refund conditions are available in your Tesla app. If an upgrade was purchased in a Service Centre, contact your local Service Centre.

Does this means I can buy, then refund in an endless loop to take advantage of free FSD? Like when I get bored, just refund. Is there a limit on the number of times you can seek refund?

    I’m also wondering what if I bought the FSD within 48 hours window. Then decided to take delivery on a new Tesla, and transfer the FSD, but seek refund on FSD on the old car. What will happen?

      The concept of license key transfer has been around for ages.
      What do you think will happen?
      1. A multibillion tech company fails to notice your switcharoo, goes ‘oh well’ and let you keep their 10k software for free on the new car, or
      2. They update the details when you make the transfer and deactivate it on the old car after the transfer, then also deactivate it on the new car after you request a refund.

    Someone in this thread suggests that they would only give you the refund once, so you probably can't do an endless loop.

    Im sure that the company that prides itself on ultimate control of the vehicle via software updates etc wont have noticed the loophole and wont have any idea how to brick your car if youre cheating them out of cash.

    Go ahead and try it. I bet you can only get a refund once. Best case scenario is you can't buy the update again. Worst case is they let you buy it again, but cannot get a second refund.
