Hey JV why did you make this complaint instead of just following the instructions so you don't have to see these posts?

It's tradition. I remember at one point, jv was completely silent for months. I was actually worried for a bit.

You do you, jv, you loveable 🫏🕳️.

This movie wasn't great. My kids didn't enjoy it, we didn't enjoy it.. is a movie that's going to be forgotten

I was on a torrent site getting some new movies and came across this movie without not knowing anything about it… I was surprised to find Walt Disney Logo at the beginning and even more surprised to find out that this is a Pixar movie (I used to worship Pixar).

But like you said.. Its very forgetable… Rinse and Repeat Formula. Not bad, but not fantastic at all

The golden age of Pixar ended about 15 years ago…

probably a fair assessment. Toy Story 3 was definitely the end of their perfect strike rate. They've had some all-timers since then like Monster's U, Inside Out and Turning Red, but a lot of sequels and new IP that just doesn't come close to their once stellar lineup.

    • Same with Strange World. I couldn't even get through it.

EVERYONE'S playing it safe. Too afraid to try new things in case they lose money. No-one is buying movie tickets these days because they're not worth the effort to go out. Stop giving us bland and boring movies with $25 tickets and we'll start watching movies again.

K-pop demon hunter is free on Netflix, your kids might like it

      • They did :) thanks for letting me know anyway, it was a good recommendation. I feel like KDH is bigger than frozen was back in it's heyday

More enjoyable to watch this 10 minute youtube video talking about Bean Mouth Syndrome
(the thing that contributes to why so many recent animated movies blend together to become one uninspired, unimaginative, forgettable mush in our minds)

I've seen that. And I totally agree. I used to love movies. I used to love going to the cinemas.

I made the effort to go watch Fantastic 4 First Steps. I wasn't impressed nor disappointed. Maybe it's me.

  • Never seen this movie before. Alright save it for my kid.

  • is this the movie that got Snoop cancelled? 🤣

  • I've boycotted Pixar ever since they forced John Lasseter out

  • Can anyone advise if there’s any scary moments for a 4 year-old?

My kid watched the trailer with me and seemed engrossed but didn’t want to go see it at the cinema.

There is one scene I felt was kinda creepy for kids. The main characters clone approaches from the shadows as a demonic creature grabs someone and then his face melts.
To be fair it was the only scene I found funny but I was just so aware of how out of place it was.

  • Saw this one at the cinema with my 3 year old daughter. Did not really leave any kind of impression on either of us, the very definition of mid. I'd say its a perfect one to catch on streaming but with all the other options for kids on Disney there is likely plenty of other things to watch first.
