Skyrim expansion Dragonborn is due out on 6 Feb. Apparently a large expansion pack that takes you to a new map. Steam has it on preorder for $24.99. GMG has it for $19.99 but with the above code brings the pre-order down to $16. You cant download the expansion until 6 Feb but $16 seemed like a good deal for a preorder. I can confirm this works as I have just pre-ordered.

Apparently the system here has the code already posted elsewhere on the board, must be a % off thing, code I used was GMG20-PJFEW-Y16HK

damnit why hasnt the main game been this cheap!

  • Was waiting for this to show up on GMG. Thanks for the post!

  • Am I the only one who can't use Paypal to pay? Says bank has declined it as they think GMG is a gambling company.

    • Others have had the same problem with GMG before.
      Which bank are you with?

      • Westpac, and GE Money for the CC.

        • You could try contacting them to rectify it, but that's probably be a futile endeavor. I know for a fact CBA works… know anyone with an account?

        • Currently asking around for someone to help me. Biggest issue is I have some credit on my account… so I don't know what I'll do. :(
Might have to get someone to use my account to buy something for me, then ditch GMG forever.

EDIT: Got someone else to try… looks like my GMG account is flagged somewhere, because THEY couldn't buy it either.

          …and they're in the USA.

        • GE Money as in the 360 degrees card? That would surprise me as that is the only credit card I am able to use to deposit money into my Lotto account, all my other cards get rejected due to gambling.

        • 28 Degrees… :P

        • hehe

    • Turns out it was a problem on GMG's side - the support made a change to my account, and I was able to purchase the game without an issue. Not sure what kind of setting would block any sort of payment option, yet blame it on the bank. :/

  • Have all the bugs been ironed out of this game yet? There was SO MANY quests I couldn't finish due to bugs back a year ago when I played through it

Last time I played through it, there was nothing game-breaking. I don't recall terribly many bugs from the start, though (for a Bethesda game).

      • yeah. this is one of the rarest game with the least amount of crippling bugs… considering it's the The Elder Scrolls franchise which are sort of infamous.

  • I just started a new game, played for 2 hours with it auto saving every time i entered the menu - I died for the first time and the next half an hour was spent stuck, with the camera panning 360 degrees around my dead body, it didn't respawn me to last auto save.

With no other options, I exited the game, slightly annoyed. Went to reload my progress, went back to where you design your character…6 minutes into the game, all other progress lost.

    • Thats why you should use quicksave and normal save in addition to autosave.
