    • North Korea is a different country from South Korea.

        Since when ?

        Both North and South Korea claim they are the sole legitimate government of all of Korea.

        • If you are making fun of it, you might be a racist. Otherwise, you might need to go back and sit in a Year 10 classroom.

            @Jamie777: Perhaps you need to do some geography research of Korea…

            • @jv: You are really funny. North and South Korea used to be one country, but now they are separated into two independent countries, each with its own government and boarder. If you REALLY don’t know that, you must have travelled here from the 19th century. lol

                Not according to either of them… They 'identify' as one country…

                @Jamie777:

                one city near the border now belongs to South Korea

                Who determined that ?

                • +1

                  @jv: You don’t even know that thousands of Australian soldiers fought and died on the battlefield near the border between North and South Korea during the Korean War. Because of their sacrifice, one city near the border now belongs to South Korea. Without Australian military support, the people there would have been ruled under communism. There is a memorial in that city, as well as in several locations in Australia, including Sydney and Brisbane.

                  And if you want to make fun of North and South Korea, then remember — that also means making fun of the sacrifice of the Australian soldiers. The people of that Korean city still appreciate the sacrifice of Australian soldiers even today. The United Nation abandoned that city, but Australia never did.
