Can you tell the difference between native 4K and upscale 4K? If not, why bother.
Do you have a 300 inch screen? If not then you can’t tell any differences.

I’ve been using the 1080 horizon for a few years now, was always thinking I’d upgrade when this model dipped sub 2k via a legit aus supplier but might just hold out again for next gen
I have the Horizon Pro 4k which I paid around $2300 for, very happy with picture quality and brightness.
Main complaint is the SoC is weak, and menu interactions can be laggy, furthermore even video playback of higher quality files can cause lag and stutter.
If this Ultra model also uses the same SoC expect poor UI, I heard the new range finally brings better SoC and more RAM. So might be worth waiting for those.
I'd have thought a Shield TV or Apple TV would be just about mandatory with any projector.
While I agree with the idea, this type of projector is sold as "lifestyle" projector and you tend to haul them around the house for different occasions. Which makes setting up a big box award. I do have a FireTV Ultra which just dangles from the back, while it does work it also is not as strong as I wish ….
Would this be capable of projecting images onto Windsor Castle? Asking for a friend
