Hi,

In the 'manage add-ons' section (after you log in) of myvodafone.com.au, check 'data bundles' and see if it says $0 min cost. Vodafone call centre people are not sure why it is $0. I think it is for postpaid. Zero dollar options for 6gb bundle as well.

    It works for me, it doesn't work for mobile phone numbers but it works for Portable Wifi Hotspots. I'm scared to do it because, 1.5gbs is enough for me and I'm scared of Vodafone charging me extra for the 6gbs later.

    im on a month to month mobile broadband, and it worked for me. i kept the screenshots to make sure they wont charge anything

    ok. there is a prob. its free to add, but if u try to cancel and click 'no-add on'…it says u need to pay $479 as early exit fee…Be careful, guys! I'm trapped now:(

      Ouch. Give them a call, maybe? Isn't there a cooling off period when signing up for new telecommunications contracts where you can cancel without penalty?

        cooling off period only applies to when you are talked into the contract not when you approach them.

    It's clearly a website error. I wouldn't touch this unless you have enough time to go through the back and forth with Vodafone customer service for them to honour it

      I have tried calling them (each time spent at least 2 hours) to correct the contract I signed up
      and now they still charged me extra on my bill, what an great experience for their customers!

    I can't even see a data bundle option in myvodafone. Well, I will leave this, just think after they fix the bug, I will have to spend tens of hours on the phone begging the Indian operator to cancel it without penalty.

    Given it's Vodafone, the TIO will be the best exit strategy should they come back and bite you. It might even help you to wiggle out of your existing contract….just sayin'.

    won't work with my other 2 post-paid mobile services.

      Data Bundles is still showing as 6Gb 12mos $0

      Bill for Jan will come by Wednesday.

    As expected Vodafone is billing me $40 for availing this. I have contacted their support and told them to either honour the $0 which I doubt or remove the 6Gb data plan. Oh, Vodafone. Why do you always find ways for me to hate you!
