  • Was really considering selling off my Unifi equipment to move to something like this but after reading the reviews for this product, going to stay with Unifi.

    • yeah I am trying to work out if I should go to this from my asus wifi 6 setup. I used to have Unifi till it died on me. Where do you see the reviews for this?

      • Checked Amazon and they were 1 star reviews and just having a quick Google search on reviews

    • +1

just curious, why are you looking to move from unifi equipment to something like this?

  • Is wifi 8 on the way? Soon?

    • there are barely any wifi 7 devices on the market now lol wifi 8 is atleast a year or 2 away.

      • Wifi 8 will be the game changer. Awaiting for it

    • In 2028.

  • Nice try Gerry!

  • mate has these - App is pretty shit house
between the three units - cant work out some mornings which one to connect to. Mesh system doesnt work

  • +1

For an extra $50 I would go with a Mercusys BE9300 WIFI 7, 2 pack.
I have the Mercusys AX6000 3 pack at home and am happy with the performance and app experience having upgraded from a tp link decco m5 system.

    • the mercusy seems good !! 408 not a bad price. is there a 3 pack option?

      • I have only seen a 2 pack option on sale. Depending on the size of your home a 2 pack may be all you need.

    • does this have a native web interface for control?

      • To access the Mercusys web management page, open a web browser and type http://mwlogin.net or 192.168.1.1 into the address bar, then press Enter. You'll need to be connected to the Mercusys device (via Ethernet or Wi-Fi) to access the management page and enter the router's login credentials when prompted.

        • do i have access to full config or is it some stripped back thing?

  • Dual band. No

    • It's triband

  • I'm surprised this got so little upvotes. Compared to Google nest wifi pro, Eero 6/7, Netgear Orbi etc, it seems to think ck all the boxes of both triband and wifi7 without exorbitant $600-$1000+ price.

Any reason for the lack of interest? Lack of history / distribution in the past? Interesting to see just 1 rating on HN as well
