great game, maybe too much for a 2019 game but it was GOTY
As said, this is the usual price drop. After the success of Elden Ring I doubt Fromsoft games are going to get the price drops they once did.
That said, this is a pretty awesome game! If you've never played it, it is similar to other Fromsoft games engine wise, but the actual combat is significantly different. This is much more story focused, and lacks the different combat styles of other From games. It's helpful to see this one as more of a rhythm based game than a hack and slash.
For a more recent game with similar mechanics, look up Lies of P, though that combines more elements from Sekiro and Bloodborne, isn't a direct clone.
How does this run on steamdeck?
very good actually but feels much better on a controller due to combat difficulty
One of the best games I've ever played.
Great game! (profanity) know it's a good one that's why it never goes below 44
Damn, I got that for Xbox a few years ago for 17, but never got to play it past the first boss lol
easy game worth full price even by todays standards
if you can brave the fight - the world, story and everything about is 10/10 - probably one of the best games ever madeThis game scares me, most games I don't bother to learn to parry because it's too hard to time, and I think this is all parrying 😅
I guess in Bloodborne parrying was OK, but they gave you this giant window to hit the button, I presume Sekiro isn't like that.
Don't let that dissuade you, I believe the parry/deflection window is more forgiving in Sekiro than other Souls games
This has been the ATL for years now, I don't think the publisher is going to drop it any further than this. Regardless, if you haven't played Sekiro and don't mind a challenging game, definitely go for it.
