          I am the wrong link for kingdoms lets you download for free (no surprise its a free game) the right link for HD has NO link for downloading free, if your downloading something it's Kingdom

      The instructions need to be much clearer and tell you to get HD free you have to sign up for Kingdoms then you get an email for HD free the links take you to both HD and Kingdoms and it's incredibly misleading all you needed to do was say you get HD free after signing up for save a lot of grief.

      Not that hard was it?

    still a bit confused about the linking. etc Im not big on in game purchases…

    Can I just link my account to my amazon account and then download it and play the game as is?

      You don't need to spend on or play Stronghold Kingdoms at all. The final purchase is for a DRM-free copy of Stronghold HD

    It worked!!

    I just had to use the first OP link to buy Stronghold Kingdoms for $0 and LINK/Create an account with strongholds at the same time.
    Once that was done.. i proceeded to the Stronghold HD page which still says $5.99 but when I clicked to purchase that, a coupon was applied automatically to it making it $0!!

    Great stuff OP!

    Amazon is easy to fool. You don't need to use a US proxy or have a US credit cards, all you need to do is to add a US shipping address to your profile. There are fake US address creators, or you can just look up a US business (eg McDonalds in Denver Colorado) and enter that as your shipping info.

      I've done that. It lets me buy US Kindle books but not games like this. I tried setting it as my 1-click address.

        It's based on the billing address you use for the purchase, give that a go.

    I did it wrong and waited for emails to come to my inbox - nothing :(
    Then I went back to the site, and I forgot to make it my US address, did that and then I purchased.

    Hey folks, just wondering if any of you have had trouble installing this software? I've downloaded this six times already, but every time I try to install it, it throws up a CRC error in a different file. It's getting very very vexing.

    Any thoughts?

    Just wanted to share that I've finally managed to get it working on the 20th+ download. First time I've run into problems with amazon dl.
