    Thanks. Wish there was a better way to sort through everything. I find the only way I manage to take advantage of these sorts of deals is when you are lucky enough that it coincides with a camels alert. Too much work otherwise. The prices are usually pretty ordinary.

        Their sorting and filtering functionalities are so incredibly bad which makes absolutely no sense at all. It feels like Amazon is actively trying to discourage us from spending money on their platform…

          @anonym: Yes Amazon has killed their sorting. When you choose sort by price lowest to highest, a lot of results you had in the recommended search seem to disappear. My Amazon spend has really gone down the last few years. It's become too annoying.

              @anonym: Maybe stores that do this hope you see some other things as you are searching/browsing and buy those things as well.

              A store that I buy a lot of things from just updated their website and took away quite a few sorting and filtering options. Pretty annoying.

                @ozbs25: Kinda similar to how YouTube absolutely trashed their search and recommendation functionalities I guess. Everything is getting enshittified for some kind of weird notion that it would generate even more profit.

            @petestrash: The other thing that happens when you sort by price, is that things are included in your search results that don't exactly match the terms you searched for - so not only is the filtering rooted, you have to do your own manual filtering of the extra junk that appears in the list 🤷
