    No cashback deals these days

I bought this last year and am due for renewal in October.. Guessing I cant just use this to renew can I…?

    • no it's a starter kit not a top up. Look at any other boost threads.
They are reluctant to do it these days but just get on the boost chat or call and do it a few times if need be.

Just tried chat. Took me over an hour. Passed to 3 different operators - each one didnt seem to actually read what I was asking and answered different questions.
I was continually told 'good news' and I could just pay full price for a recharge.
End result they refused any option other than port out.

Looks like the party is over hey.
Guess just get an Aldi sim and start over.

Just get another prepaid (28 days) from coles or woolies that is on sale. Usually around $12 to $16. Transfer the number for 28 days and back to boost.
Save the hassle talking to boost chat who may or may not want to help.

Bug what if the porting gets screwed up and as a result you lose the phone number which you've had for ages. All just to save a few bucks. That would suck.

    • New customer only
Need to port out and port back in

    • You will need to port out first (with something like this $15 Cashback on Yomojo 30-Day 29GB Prepaid SIM $13.90 Delivered)

Wait a day or so and then activate the new boost starter kit.

  • Can we have Boost 365-day 170GB plan @ a good discount?

    • Those were the best, got the last one from eBay last year 160$. Superseded plan now.

  • Been with boost for a good few years now just curious how it is with the Aldi Telstra thing any good?
I was thinking maybe myself and wife can ignore boost and use the shared Aldi one and split the gb in half but just curious we both have our own numbers can we or do we still get to keep our numbers or does this mean one of us need to give it up which we probably would not.
Even though we get a good amount of gb from our boost we always have heaps left over by year is up.
And I think Aldi one might work but not sure on the phone numbers thing

    • We used Aldi and went to Boost. It's the "same network" but something like 97% of Telstra and the bandwidth wasn't good. Could be in the heart of the city and could barely load the Maccas app to order food it was so slow. This was in Albany WA.

On Boost it's a lot faster and we get more signal on long drives than what we did with Aldi. Bang for buck Aldi wasn't worth it for us.

      • Cool probably stick to boost again just not into or have little experience porting number etc. both myself and wife expire in oct

  • lol I see that family share is every month so not any good I see Aldi has 12 month plan but it looks like your international calls are charge for which put me off a little, so maybe boost is still only options

  • Just to confirm, is there no minimum port out time from boost to another sim then back to this?

  • Is 5G available on this?

    • Yes
