$10/ $20/ $30 Birthday Reward (Amount Depends on Annual Spend) @ David Jones Rewards

430

The previous deal is now outdated as David Jones are not offering a $10 Welcome Reward anymore on signup.

In addition to their changes in their loyalty program, you will now earn a different birthday reward depending on how much you spend with them on an annually basis.
To add on to that, you can also now earn a flat standard rate of 1 Qantas Point per $1 spent according to that post.

The new tiers for each Birthday Reward is as followed.

BRONZE - Annual Spend $0-$1,999: $10 Birthday Reward
SILVER - Annual Spend $2,000-$4,999: $20 Birthday Reward
GOLD - Annual Spend $5,000 and above: $30 Birthday Reward

Personally, not a fan of this tiering system, but as businesses continue to modernise, they will change what they need to.

    $10/ $20/ $50

If gold is $30, you might want to fix the title.

    • Dunno what I was thinking lol - thanks for spotting that mate

No problem. Thank you for all the deals 🙂

Looks like it's always going to be $10 for me!

      I'll be forever Bronze🏅
      So no changes for me.

Just finished eating 30% off shortbread from recent $10 Reward. Rarely spend more than Rewards received.

    Yay !!! $10….

It should be a fixed amount irrespective of the annual spend. And does DJ really think that people will spend $5000+ just so that they can get a puny $30 voucher with which you can't get much considering how overpriced everything is at DJ

And does DJ really think that people will spend $5000+ just so that they can get a puny $30 voucher?

No, but I think it’s obvious that it wasn’t designed to be an “incentive”. It would barely be an incentive for someone who’s spent $4900 (ie. Spend another $100 to get an extra $10 birthday reward).

They just want to give a bigger reward to their bigger spenders, it’s as simple as that.

    • The 30 is the birthday reward.

You get the $50 tier award for spending 5k for the year, and the 5k qantas points (1 QF per dollar spent)

Disappointed to read that the Welcome Reward is gone.

    • I agree.

    • I wonder why 🤔

      • +2

Maybe… too many sign ups with $0 spends or just reward amount then dormant accounts

        • +1

Its 10 bucks to spend on overpriced socks. I am not sure why people are disappointed.

10@ JB HiFi Perks, and you can get some little gadget and what not.

$10 goes much further at JB than at DJs.

        🤣😅

  • I never got mine this year. Is this something that just started up again?

This new rewards program was introduced on the 24th of September 2025, that's 24/09/2025.

      So yes, it is new.

    • +1

Yes, you need to sign up for this new program (can use the existing account)

      • I got the email about the new program yesterday. I logged into my existing account as the email told me I had to choose between DJ or Qantas rewards.
This was already preselected as DJ when I got to that page.
Is there anything else that I need to do?
My birthday is in October so dont want to miss out 😉

        • +1

          That's all I did

        • Not receive my birthday voucher after they start to use the new program. Usually, the voucher arrives on my birthday. Not sure what’s wrong with the program!

        • Birthday $10 received on the day.
          🥳

  • I still received birthday reward expired 8/11 this year from my account created 2 years ago. I didn't pay any money except using welcome reward and birthday rewards

  • How long will it take for them to send out birthday reward to new account?
