Long time lurker, first time poster.
Moro Extra Virgin Olive Oil 4L down to $45, seems like a decent deal on the good old EVOO.
$1.13 / 100ML

One is $10 off while the other one is $20 off.
I remember when I used to get this for $36, regular price, just a few years ago.
They just can't let it go. The great Olive Oil shortage of 2023/24.
What's the next earth ending shortage that means they can jack the price to consumers?
I hear its going to be potatoes.
How will the UK survive?
As someone who grew up in Gembrook, it's the government control and not growing. The seasonal stuff can be mitigated. It's too risky over growing potatoes unfortunately so it'll be a self induced shortage
In some shops they already cost $14.99 4/kg
I remember when I used to get this for $18, during half price specials.
How long will this special last?
Can use the 10% code in a couple of days when Oct starts.
Probably until Tuesday. New promo week starts on Wednesdays.
This should be standard price now as the olive oil prices have dropped considerably from the highs that justified the previous price hikes. When will the ACCC step in to stop the ridiculous price jacking and fake specials.
Olive oil is very good but give rice bran or algea oil a try. Not canola or vegetable oil though of course, which are rubbish

Actual sources? Not just influencer bs.
Vegetable oil is good for frying, why would you need to use olive oil for that?
Why is there olive oil and extra virgin olive oil, but no such thing as virgin olive oil?
Sounds like the start of a Seinfeld bit
When the olives were harvested, the farmers couldn't help themselves in the back of house with the virgin olives, the extra virgin ones were extra virgin for a reason >.>
I used to love getting Cobram or Red Island for this price :(.
Now I'm supposed to cheer at imported crap being under $50.
I reckon RRP of $65 is a little overinflated considering that's the normal price of 3L Cobram and Red Island (hot tip Moro is inferior to those, even tough you're getting 4L).
Plus vote for Moro lovers, but damn… $45 is now a bargain? :(
Not sure if true, but i use to get these because cheaper but then i readed that Australia evoo wqs better quality?
