Came across this as I was looking to grab one for my office at home.
Price for the size looks decent. Looks to be a few deals from the same company on ebay doing the same price clearance?
Grabbed one so lets see how it goes.

Yeah really odd design choice, still kind of tempted. Price seems fairly sharp…
Just get yourself an XXL desk mat to put under the keyboard and mouse, and I bet you'll hardly notice it.
Spot on.
I have one of the similar ones, imo not bad for the price
Just be careful with the desk top, the timber qualiti is crap T_T
Thanks for the heads up worse case scenario, Bunnings trip and i'll slap a fat desk on it ahaha
For the price, it's to be expected.
It is a very good price, but the specs seem low quality. Only one motor, 70kg maximum load, and slow 14mm/s speed. Table top is also cheap particle board.
Even a Prius is faster then that
Single motor
Why do people use it? To not sit 8 hours straight? Or is it more comfortable to work while standing?
Yes and yes. In my 3 office days, I sit 7.5 hours straight. So during my 2 WFH days, I try to stand for around 6 hours and sit for 1.5.
It gives you the option to alternate between sitting and standing.
Start of the day, stand standing for few hours, then sit in the arvo, stand again the evening. Promotes better bloodflow
For health reason usually, help bloodflow, isometric stretching muscle in standing. Research suggest that for every 1.5h sitting, you do 15 min walk but in office u can't walk out of ur spot so ppl do standing is good enough. In some situation, ppl buy yoga ball as sitting instead of chair if they can't get the height adjustable table.
Exactly this, I've managed to get myself a walking pad as well mainly for body movement and blood flow, im a bigger person and I have sciatica sitting for long periods of hours doesn't feel good for me unfortunately
Get yourself an under desk Bike Pedal Exerciser that you can do cycling while sitting bro. It help as well and if you want, can put it on the table and exercise arm after working hour
It depends. I can work while standing, but when I struggle with something at work, I don't want to be tired and standing as well.
It works great for meetings though. I take all my meetings standing.
I have a 180cm wide one. I use 3/5 of it for my work setup, the other 2/5 I can use for whatever I want. It's very convenient for working with anything. It's not just to avoid sitting all day.
maybe you can replace the desktop with some quality bench top but then it might become too heavy for the frame
I bought one of these recently for a second desk for my 3D printers. I use a Desky that is really great for my pc, but at one tenth of the price the ergomaker is good value for money. If you wanted to test out a sit/stand setup this would be an easy option.
thanks - ordered 2. was waiting for an excuse to get them, and this price makes it worthwhile.
other colours available too white and gold
Purchased before, quality is poor, even not looking stable. You get what you paid for.
Is tabletop or frame is poor quality, bro?
Just grandpa axe them both with replacements from Bunnings apparently.
Both. The top is very thin, almost half of my previous one. If you saw the frame design and the material you would question how much weight it can support.
Sounds like it'll be worth it i get a flat desk top from bunnings, which is what i plan to do if it really is that bad
Sitting is comfortable > Sitting is the new cancer
If you are concerned about the gaps, you can get a glass top from Ikea, an alternative to desk pad. But it may sticky in warmer months, and icy in colder months. Though would look good if you keep is clean.
They had a tinted one before, 80cm x 50cm, seems discontinued.
By the way, the panels come with the desk look quite flimsy, possibly unsuitable to clamp a monitor arm, the drill through type might be okay.
It's a decent price for a desk that size but the only issue is the sectioned table top.
They describe the frames yet the table top. I guess it's a grinded wood like most of the ikea's woods. As long as it's strong enough for the purpose, it should be fine.
I’m thinking of getting a frame only, to upgrade my 120cm computer/gaming desk.
Does the 70 kg max load include the tabletop?
I have a dual monitor arm with 34" + 27" monitors - I reckon around 20–25 kg total.
Will a 70 kg frame be enough?
60cm deep is not enough for large monitor. I suggest >80cm deep desk.
The desk top appears to be broken into 4 separate pieces, probably for ease of shipping.
The desk top gap looks like it would be where most people would be using their mouse.
