Almost certain after accounting for 20% cashback of the $549 purchase price $449.18 is an ATL for this highly rated sub. Been looking at this for an addition with my beam 2 recently after reading how well it bridges the gap with audio for sonos soundbars, pulled the trigger after running the numbers with the unreal cashback offer from TopCashback! If you’re already in the sonos ecosystem and just have a soundbar I highly recommend checking this out.

      I have a Samsung set in the main living area, so this will be my first Sonos sub mini to go with the Beam 2 and a pair of Era 100s already in place in the 2nd living room.

      But tbh, it's more than adaquate even without the Sub already. Will see how much improvement it brings.

    I’ve heard about the software problems but honestly I’ve had my beam 2 for over a year now and haven’t had a single problem, in fact only learnt about the problem when I started looking at this sub mini

    App seems pretty snappy and reliable on the whole these days. I find it in a better state overall than at any point before.

      Would only assume it adds similar value. although because gen 1 lacks Dolby atoms I’d say adding this could give even more of a difference in audio
