I will admit they’re quite chunky. I have the medium as it’s a solid unit. The Bellroy Transit, posted in an earlier deal, weighs 3.2Kg empty so it could be worse.
The Bellroy is also way more expensive for a single luggage. This is 2 for $192 at least
I got one of these in the recent Amazon deal and returned it - my fault, but the hardshell + size combo was far too inflexible / small. Could barely fit more than a nights clothing + shoes.
After years of travelling, I keep going back to duffels or soft rollers, they have more space and are light - even if you have to carry the duffel.
Btw, at this price, it would make a handy kids carry-on!
