Looking for your expert suggestions either to go with Volume builder or customized ( Straight land with No easement )

Building in the north? Factor in bars on the windows, CCTV, and maybe a moat if the budget allows.
If you look at the crime map, almost all of Melbourne is a shit show
I haven't looked at stats but the north seems to get mentioned a lot more on the news.
I can assure you almost 80% of aggravated home invasions and armed carjackings are occurring in the rich inner/outer east areas and the very poor all round west areas.
North is actually doing pretty ok at the moment.
Also whoever voted Singh homes on the OP poll I would seriously consider getting a building inspection completed on your house asap.

@plmko: What kind of math are you mathing. To think outer west Melbourne (literally maybe 3 to 5 suburbs max) and a slew of inner east suburbs which stretch out to the outer east is 80% of Melbourne must be a joke right?
The entire north, south east and south north and regional would beg to differ they are only the remaining 20% of Melbourne.

Regardless of who you choose just make sure progress payments are only made for work actually completed. Otherwise, at the rate house builders are falling over in Victoria you may well be a prime candidate for ACA.
