NAB Goodies Problem - Refusing Cashback

Has anyone else experienced any problems relating to NAB Goodies?

A few weeks ago I received an offer on NAB Goodies for $15 off $30 DoorDash expiring on 14/9.
I went out and purchased $30 worth of food (11/9). Weeks go by and I still hadn't received the cashback so I contacted them via the site chat. Now they're telling me that they're refusing to honour the cashback because it wasn't within the offer period. So I checked my NAB transaction history and the DoorDash transaction showed that it was processed on the 15th.

Is there anything I can do about this situation? I'm not sure why it took them 4 days to process the transaction.

Edit: Turns out it was a mistake on their part and it's been rectified!

"Firstly I would like to apologise for the incorrect information provided. The eligibility of the offer is from when you first made the purchase ( 11/09), not when the transaction is processed.

As you've made the purchase initially on 11/09, you are eligible for the cashback. Cashback can take 14-20 business days to be credited as there was a delay."

    I purchased on 12/9 and it also processed on 15th and I missed out on cashback

        I'm waiting for live chat to respond and say no then I'm going to escalate to a complaint

          Turns out the first few reps were mistaken and it has been fixed!

            @RainbowChad: They responded just now and said there was a system error and to expect the cashback to be processed by Oct 6!

            "Our automatic cashback system encountered an issue with some transactions between 15/08-15/09 which has caused a delay in the processing of cashbacks. The NAB Goodies team is aware of the situation and is working towards getting this all sorted for our customers. This has affected your transaction meaning the cashback will be delayed. A tentative timeframe was provided and this should be fixed by the 6/10/25 barring any further issues."

            • @bdl: Hrm, I had a payment on the 15 Sept to Specials GC that was on their Goodies. Still waiting for the cashback. May be will have to check with their support later.

    What do the terms say? Processed or transacted?

    • I just read through the terms and there's a section near the bottom basically saying that it's not their problem if the processing is delayed for the purchase.

      Guess there's really nothing that can be done about it. Really gutted about losing $15.

        Just make an official complaint. Say it’s not reasonable for a consumer to have control over settlement of a transaction. In fact NAB has more control than you. Moreover 14th is a Sunday. Live chat have little power to offer a credit but the ‘complaints team’ will.

    wow that is shady. Never have that issue with CBA. Customers can only control the purchased date, not processed date.

    I’ve used this promo from NAB 4 times now and never had an issue. Doordash has never processed my credit card payment later than a day. Wonder why it’s taking them so long to process a transaction? Trying to avoid paying the cashback for X random amount of customers?

    DoorDash transaction showed that it was processed on the 15th.
