  not sure how warranty works with amazon US (asusme amazon jsut deals with it ) - but prepared for these things to break every 2-3 years.

  philips are pretty good with sending you out a new one if its during warranty though (36 months if you register, 24 if you dont)

    Amazon AU makes you deal with Amazon US for things it sells. No easy (cheap) returns. Phillips AU may not send you a new one. Not all companies provide international warranty.
