Cheapest Sim to Receive SMS

  Why do you need credit if you just want to receive sms?

    From what ive seen those $2 sims ive seen wont receive sms unless recharged. Unless you know of one that works?

  OW has some $2 ones.

      I'm pretty sure the Telstra ones do until they cancel it… At least, they used to…

      My last one a few years back worked for 6 months for $2 and no top up.

      I thought at the time that 33cents per month to receive SMS, be eligible for discount Village cinema tickets and create a new Kayo account was good value.

  It’s getting harder now. It used to be that all $2 SIMs worked and could receive SMS for 6–9 months (NO TOP UP). Now, Optus won’t even let you register without a debit or credit card, which is a lot of data collection!
